offense is going backwards tho

I mean they got manhandled by Joey bosa and fumbled twice in a row and the refs seemingly had a large sum wagered on the chargers winning and we still moved the ball and won pretty comfortably. The chargers are no slouch I think the game today was more encouraging than some others think.

The bills are Wildfire . They burn hot.

I don't deny that we could be one-and-done in the playoffs, but I still think we are dangerous. We could also make some crazy run and win a Superbowl. No different than old Manning G men.

We need to work on some stuff....for sure...but we are way ahead of where we used to be and that is reason to be happy...

8-3

Does anyone else believe the first Hail Mary was an incomplete pass?  The Bills would have then declined the penalty and taken over on downs.  Game over.  The refs should have taken a closer look at that play, IMO.

hubby who is a football guru said this exact same thing he was practically screaming this at me when it happened....would have saved a lot of headaches and drama if it'd have gone this way thats for sure..I go with hubby I call it incomplete , penalty would have been declined Bills would have taken over on downs at that point. Its moot now thank goodness

Haven't 3 of our WRs thrown TDs now?

All of them will probably have more career TD throws than Jake Fromm.

Good game from the D.   Able to overcome 3 4th quarter turnovers from the O.  And only give up 3 points is very impressive.

Yes, they need to learn to KNOCK IT DOWN!

Well considering the Titans smoked the Bills earlier in the year. Yes, I’d say they are clearly better.

Because every first game match up follows that exact script. Colts were short handed Titans took advantage. Good for them. Who cares about the Titans. 5 games to go in the season is an eternity we are 8-3. Need to improve. Outside of KC and maybe Pitt as clear favorites, Bills are right there. More about Bills improvement then what others are doing.

Please stop already....

Lol seriously...how do we know the bills couldve developed mahomes the same way Andy Reid did.  Even if the bills drafted him we couldve gotten a very different mahomes and rushed him into a starting role

At one point in the first half, the ref announced #71 as an eligible receiver. I had forgotten who that was-- Ryan Bates. But, the rest of the O-line starters were out there. Were they playing him like a TE? Weird.

Bates has been playing as extra lineman mostly in goal line situations and as lineman on end he needs to be declared.  He has helped Josh on a few runs including TDs.

If there was no 3rd quarter in any games we could be 11-0....hyperbole aside, glad to see the run game (albeit vs a poor run D) and the D stepped up, but this game overall left me strangely unsatisfied.

Lots of us remember the dark days when we would have been over the moon to be 8-3. Maybe the bar has been raised, and, with it, my expectations. Perhaps I am guilty of being a tortured armchair QB.

They never trailed in the game. They didn’t need to “find a way”, they finished the game and won by two scores

I second that. The Bills led 17 - 6 after a solid workmanlike first half. Then the Bills looked like a division winning playoff team when they came out of the locker room and had a nice 6 minute TD drive to go up 24 - 6.  At this point you had to be ecstatic at the Bills solid performance against a solid team.

Then the weird stuff started happening.  It began with a cheap unsportsmanlike penalty on Allen after his TD run.

Then the D faces two 4th downs and allows LA to convert both. Stop the Chargers at midfield on the 4th & 2 and the game is over.

Then we had a nightmarish 4th quarter.  Leading 24 - 14 Singleterry rips off back to back 10 yard runs only to lose a bad fumble.

After throwing a beautiful deep ball to Gabe giving the Bills a 1st down at the LA 22 leading by 7, Allen fumbles the snap and instead of just falling on the ball tries to recreate the Dallas game.

A huge run by Moss is mostly eliminated by a 2nd chicken sh## sportsman like penalty.  This time on Moss.

Allen throws a bad INT.

Allen rips off a 17 yard run for a first down that puts us at the LA 12 lard line.  The play is called back after a very questionable holding call on Dawkins.

Truth be told is we should have blown them out in the 4th quarter.  The reality is that we led them by 11 and then by18 and for most of the 4th quarter by 10.  This wasn't really a close game accept in our minds as we still remembered how we lost that Arizona game at the end.

The Chargers had not lost by more than 8 points all season until this game. The Bills beat them by 10. The Chargers lost to the Chiefs by 3 (in OT), the Saints by 3 (in OT), and the Buccaneers by 7.  They are a good team.  This was a good win!

Chargers are working on improving team (they are) and improving draft pick (they are).

I do not see Chargers competing for playoffs - too hard with their circumstances - but want to be a team FAs go to and I think they are.

As far as I can tell he's never been used as a blitz specialist, more as a run thumper.  Maximum credit to Leslie Frazier for understanding Klein's potential in getting after the QB.

In game today he was tackling or assisting in tackling players who should not have been his responsibility going a bit a distance from his original play.

You are right he is being used correctly now.

I now understand about people on this site complaining that you can't say anything negative after a win. It's ludicrous .Bills are perfect is that better

And some only want to flame the Bills and from your login id I assume that for you.

Noticing the same...could have easily had 4 INTs vs. the Cardinals...

He also could have no INTs.  Could is a fuzzy word which is used by people to change prospective to what they think rather than what happened.
