Why would he be subject to waivers?  He's an 8 year vet

The injury question is more pressing.

So he can pick where he wants go ?
if that’s the case then C’mon down

assuming he’s healthy

I originally thought the same, but apparently if you're released after the trade deadline you go on waivers no matter what.

Can he refuse to join the team that’s willing to claim him ?

He can hold out is about it. The team still gets his rights and contract.

Probably a more logical Preston Williams replacement option though.

They're low in the waiver order and traded him away to the Texans in the first place. Don’t see it.

This offense isn't the easiest to learn and the coaching staff seems to have a lot of faith in Davis.  I don't see it.  Eagles, Packers, and Ravens come to mind.  Maybe even the Raiders try to upgrade from Zay Jones.

I am loving what Davis has been doing. He has had a few rookie mistakes but I never expected what he has been doing.

Surprising b.c the Bills had such a hard time finding WRs the year we get 3 really good starters we draft a guy who is able to get playtime and contribute.

Id claim him.  Similar offense to Houston.  His career to this point isnt much differant than Browns prior to Buffalo.  I doubt he makes it to us but weird things have happened.

This would legitimately help our offense if Brown continues to be unavailable.  Our offense is quite different when we cannot stretch the field.  It sure would be nice to have the Stills insurance policy.

He is going to want to start. He isn't going to sign here to fight with Davis for WR4, with a possible temp role as WR3 with Brown out. I also think that could hurt Davis' development as he would move to a reserve role.

However, if Brown is expected to miss significant time, then I might be a bit softer to the idea, but I don't recall hearing that...
