Popular Post DisplacedBillsFan Posted November 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted November 16, 2020 There’s been a movement on Reddit by some Cardinals fans to make donations to Oishei Children’s Hospital. Check out the original post, pasted below. Cards Fans - Please consider making a donation to the Oishei Children's Hospital of Buffalo (link in the post) in honor of Patricia Allen. I know we're in full blown meme-mode and all ecstatic with our last second win, but I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge the [Bills Mafia](https://www.reddit.com/r/buffalobills/). On our subreddit and on theirs, in the game thread and post-game thread, they've been a class act. Between that, how they've responded to Josh Allen losing his grandmother, and their donations to Andy Dalton's charity, I think we should recognize their fanbase and contribute to a great cause. If you can afford it in these tough times, please consider making a gift to the [John R. Oishei Children's Hospital](https://kaleidahealth.org/foundations/childrens/donate/). EDIT: For those who aren't aware of the context, Bills fans have already donated over $600k to the hospital for Allen's now-deceased grandmother, Patricia. Thank you to all Cardinals fans who have told me they've donated, publicly or privately. You're all amazing! 33 12 6
Steptide Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 This is pretty awesome if the cards fans donate a decent amount of money. Gonna make it though to stay mad about the game 3
CSBill Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 That is a classy move. Based on the thread title, I was ready to read about some stupidity. Glad it is not. 3
Mr. K Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Outstanding for those kids. Can one of them cover Hopkins? 3
JohnNord Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I saw on Twitter that many Cardinals fans were being super cool
Rigotz Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Man.... I was so ready to be angry, based on that title.
loyal2dagame Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Good on them. Better to be good winners than sore losers.

atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Larry Fitz set a good example of what it is to be classy. 13

msw2112 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 They are friends from when Brown played in AZ. Prior to the game, Brown cited Fitz as a great mentor of his. And yes, Fitz is one of the all-time class acts in the NFL. 4
Hebert19 Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 The cards fans i know all think they stole one yesterday and are very complementary to the bills. That seems like a decent fan base. 2

First, I thought fans around the league once they heard what we have done for Patricia’s memory and for Dalton would contribute to a good cause. The nice thing is $17 is not to most people a big thing, and if someone is on tough times, no worries. As far Fitzy, he rented a house in my neighborhood for the Cards/Steelers SB here in Tampa. He was so classy and us dads tried to get our kids to leave him in peace that week. We asked him once if he wouldn’t mind not even autographs but maybe a pic or two for the kids that loved him. We promised no more than 3 minutes if his time. He was wonderful and we shooed our kids off as he spent $5k to be left in peace in a gated neighborhood where no one, but us knew as the family that rented their house out told us. I can’t remember meeting another football Star as classy as him.
