wppete Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Was just talking to some buddies about how Tre’Davious White looks like a different player this year after getting payed. He hasn’t looked impressive this year compared to last year... That hail mail play today was embarrassing... Anyone else think he looks off this year? 1 1
HOUSE Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 He has been injured for at least 4 games, hard to judge
Rc2catch Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I don’t think it’s fair to question his play because he got PAID. The entire defense has been up and down. A true shut down corner does not exist anymore. They’re streaky players. His play isn’t the same level as last year, but neither is the pass rush and neither is whoever is playing opposite Tre. (We’ve used quite a few different corners opposite him this year)
Big Turk Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 (edited) The whole D hasn't played great this year. The front 4 aren't getting to the QB as much. Also the Bills are playing far better QBs and not getting 3rd stringers leading bad offenses like last year every other game. Defenses are getting torched this year around the whole NFL. The Bills are pretty good at hiding injuries but he did sit out a lot of practices. He was hurt at the end of last weeks game and he did not return. Appears to be ankle, back & knee injuries https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/bills-tredavious-white-managing-injury/ Edited November 16, 2020 by HOUSE 1
JimKellyTryouts Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Tre has never been among the biggest or fastest of CBs out there - and that definitely cost him on the jump ball. For the most part, I didn't see him being directly responsible for too many big plays - he's the least of the defense's concerns for me. 2
MJS Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Nope. QB's are only throwing his way like once or twice a game. He is being respected. And the hail mary was not embarrassing. It was an amazing catch by a premier player. 6
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 He looked really off to Me Before the game he sat out. Since then, I feel Like he really has upped his game. So i Attribute his Earlier poor Play to being banged up. I thought he played well Today. Not going to fault him on that drop in the bucket Hail Mary. 1
QB Bills Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 If he jumped and reached with one hand, he'd have knocked it away easily. For some reason, he tried to catch it. Just an absurdly stupid play by him. 3
thebandit27 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Coming into this game, White had allowed a total of 15 receptions all year per PFR. 1
Kwai San Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I don't think the problem is Tre - my gawd there were THREE defenders there for that play. I can't in all honesty throw that play in Tre's fault. Josh Norman???? YES.
MAJBobby Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I don’t know what you are watching. White has been solid all year (while battling multiple Injuries). 3 1

Not what I saw - he tried to bat it - just a better play by Hopkins....oh and TWO other guys were there too......just an INSANE play by Hopkins.....

Southern Bills Fan Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 More consistent pressure from the d line would make all our dbs look better.

I don’t see much of a drop off. Gave up a huge play to Hopkins but he wasn’t the only one at fault. He’s been solid
Jerome007 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 How many passes were caught against him today? He has had game when I thought the same, but this one wasn't one of them.
thenorthremembers Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 He has been fine. Locks down his side of the field. Hard to get ints when qbs dont test you. Bigger issues on D than Tre White.
