Matt_In_NH Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 They will probably look like more money than we expect
Artem Lipatov Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 I watched video at nfl.com this week smth like “all-pro team according to PFF at current moment”. And the only Bill was not Allen and not Diggs but RT Williams. So I think he’ll get much money contact coming offseason 1

Ty is an UFA next year too and Ike B is a RFA. I would give him a one year deal for something like $3M. I doubt he’d turn it down.

DaggersEOD Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 I honestly think of the Oline as a single unit/position and the 2nd most important “position” on the field. EVERYTHING goes through the line. RBs look better, QBs have more time meaning WRs have longer to get open. They all are on a sort of shot clock that the OLINE provides. More time equals more success across the board. So IMO, I’d rather overpay for PROVEN Oline talent vs. just about any position other than QB. 1

Definitely feel like he is an above average guard and an excellent backup center in the event that Morse goes down... Daryl Williams OTOH has been playing at a very high level this year.. He has been very good on that right side of the line.. I think of all our free agent signings this offseason minus Stefon Diggs, Williams by far has been the most impressive.. Allen has had a fantastic pocket all year for him to step into... Dawkins, Morse and Williams giving him plenty of time.. So, if we were looking to extend Williams and Feliciano, what do you guys think their contracts would look like? That question was just posted in a column in todays Athletic. Fairburn predicts: $8 to $10 mil for Williams which would place him in top 10 for a RT For Feliciano he predicts $6 to $8 mil But then goes on to state that without re-doing or cutting others not likely they could afford both with Allan and Edmunds among others due new contracts soon too.

If Klein and Edmunds can play another couple of good games together, we may get our answer on Milano. $10-13mil a year for a Very good RT is a much wiser investment than a banged up LB’er. your joking right Klein is a mediocre player and nowhere near the talent Milano is LOL
BuffaloRebound Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 You don’t let good O-Linemen walk. I’d happily cut half our overpaid D Linemen to make room for Williams and Feliciano. Same to Edmunds. Milano too. 2

Milano is undersized and can’t stay healthy. We can draft a rangy linebacker in the first 3 rounds and then use Klein as intended, instead of how Milano’s constant injuries are forcing us to use him.
qwksilver Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Both will be 29 next year, both have missed time for injuries. A 5 year deal probably keeps each of them in Buffalo until retirement or close to it. I hope Beane finds a way to keep them both. OL Continuity is a huge key to success. 1

He hasn’t barely played, and he’s low mileage for a guy that’s 36. Sure, you probably want to draft someone to compete and eventually take over, but for the sake of having a starting caliber tackle that knows the offense and is trusted by the QB and other OLmen, you can do a heckuva lot worse. Last season he played 34% of offensive snaps, only 3% this season. That's not much playing time in my book. Every team will likely have similar difficult decisions to make this offseason. I would expect many 1 year deals while waiting for fans to return.

He only played 34% because he missed 7 games after a high ankle sprain. He had dominated the snap count at RT in the 3 weeks before he got hurt against Miami. He’s a starter in this league when healthy...but you’re correct that it’s a tough situation next year and tough decisions must be made. 1
DrDawkinstein Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Lock both these guys up and draft all Defense 2
ColoradoBills Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Ad bad as the Bills situation is there are 12 teams in worse cap position. I refuse to believe that the NFL will allow teams like LAR, PIT and KC to have there rosters blown up over this. PIT (for example) is $20 Million over the cap with only 33 players signed! Just to name a few of their UFAs next year are: 1. JuJu Smith-Schuster 2. Bud Dupree 3. Avery Williamson 4. James Connor We all have to wait until after the season to see what happens but the NFL/NFLPA are not going to allow a huge glut of UFAs/cut players/etc. They surely are not gong to let the 2 best teams in the AFC to get gutted and give those players to JAX and the NYJ in a fire sale. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/2021/

Williams is tricky. I suspect he will be highly sought after. People forget he was a 2nd team all pro at RT before injury with Carolina. He will get paid I fear. I wish, I think Feliciano will probably be 5 years 35 million and Williams will be 2 years 20 million. If they keep playing well that cost will continue to go up.
GreggTX Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 (edited) I'm not of the impression that Feliciano is anything other than average. Daryl Williams just made someone's all-pro team at the midpoint of this season. At least they are both experienced. Signing Williams to an extension should be a top priority. We need to draft or trade for a better pair of starting G's. I'd like Feliciano to backup at C and G, but I don't want to pay depth $7 mill/yr. We can find better starters. When will Morse be back?
