Captain_Quint Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Hard games ahead, but it's a good test for the playoff spotlight. 2
Bakin Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Not sure our success in prime time the last few years but I don’t think it’s good. 2 1
whatdrought Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 I doubt the Denver game gets flexed to Primetime, though the Dolphins might get flexed if it’s got playoff implications. 5
RobbRiddicksTDLeap Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 That Pittsburgh game scares me. 3
GunnerBill Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Think Denver could well end up flexed. They normally have two Saturday games week 15 and when you look at the schedule that week..... it is slim pickings. The best Sunday game is Saints @ Chiefs in the 4.25 ET slot but I can't see Fox being willing to give that up to a Saturday slot and it is currently the only game in that window. After that maybe Titans @ Lions is a possibility? Dolphins @ Patriots? Falcons @ Buccs? Probably depends where Denver are at that point. If they are dead and buried and the Bills are 9-4 or better and have all but sealed the AFCE maybe it stays at 1pm Sunday. 1

It is not pretty. 8 minutes ago, RobbRiddicksTDLeap said: That Pittsburgh game scares me. They genuinely do not scare me. I think they are good but I don't think they are scary. Besides if the Bills can go 2-1 at worst before then (and I think they should beat LAC and San Fran) then that game probably doesn't matter that much in truth. 1
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 What is the time frame for a decision on that Denver time? Is it a chance of going from Sunday to Saturday like that Pats game last year? Or just the time on the Sunday?

If you use prime time during mcdermott tenure— 2017 0-1 (At Jets) 2018 0-1 (Pats / we had Derek Anderson at QB) 2019 1-0 (At Steelers) 2020 0-2 (at Titans, Chiefs) This is TNF/SNF/MNF. Am I missing any? I didn’t include any national 4pm stuff like thanksgiving or playoffs since it’s not considered prime time. Not sure if chiefs at 5pm is considered prime time but I included it since Monday night Edited November 14, 2020 by YoloinOhio 1

I agree it's not easy, but it looks far less daunting now than it did a couple weeks ago, before Buffalo got the New England monkey off its back and then took down vaunted Seattle. I don't think there is a team left on the schedule that Buffalo absolutely cannot beat no matter what. We haven't been able to say that at this point in the season in decades. This^^^^^^ I am not going to say we are going to win every game, but I don't feel like there is a game we can't win. That in itself is huge progression from past years. 5 1

They don't just take 2 games out of the whole Sunday schedule. There are 5 games pre-selected before the season starts, and they will move a minimum of 2, but possibly 3 of those games to Saturday. The choices are- Lion @ Titans Jets @ Rams Texans @ Colts Panthers @ Packers Bills @ Broncos Also, FWIW, since the selected teams are switching days and not just time slots, the NFL says they will be informed a minimum of 4 weeks in advance.

After this week the Bills last 6 includes 4 teams that - currently - have losing records. Thats a far cry from their first 10 games where 7 teams - currently - have winning records. It doesn’t mean they can’t drop a game to the likes of the chargers or Broncos but the remaining schedule is easier than what we’ve faced so far.

Ah okay. Didn't realise it was between 5. I think Lions - Titans gets flipped on that basis. Then either us or Packers. 1
