Royale with Cheese Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Sal was talking about it this morning on the morning show. The Bills are actually tied for 4th in the league with 14 takeaways....tied with several other teams but still. Doesn't that seem weird? I wouldn't have guessed this at all. I really would have guessed we were probably in the bottom 10. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team/_/view/turnovers/table/miscellaneous/sort/totalTakeaways/dir/desc Did you also know that otters hold hands when they sleep in the water so they don't drift away from each other? 6 17 5 1
Stank_Nasty Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 top ten in sacks as well. we'll see where we end up after our bye week but it should still be close to top ten..... i can deal with the yards being given if they can keep finding ways to turn it over and get home on the qb. 1
DrDawkinstein Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 (edited) Yeah, it's kind of surprising. I knew we were doing better than last year, but that isnt saying much. I also need to look up where we rank in turnover differential. One of the biggest steps Josh has taken this year has been cutting out the turnovers. Even with those big numbers he put up last Sunday, the most impressive number was 0. No INTs, No Fumbles. Especially with getting sacked so many times. Edited November 13, 2020 by DrDawkinstein 7 1

The first turnover from our big 3...Hyde, Poyer and White came this past weekend. Hyde still is waiting.

Without them, we'd be -1 in TO differential. Which is more indicative of our overall performance. 2 1

Ramza86 Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Im surprised, must be a low rate across the league this season
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Shut the front door!!! no way. They suck at it. I heard it here

Ethan in Cleveland Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 They were bottom 10 until they got 4 turnovers last week. Lets hope McD continues the aggressive style of defense he called last week 1

We are what our record and stats say we are. That's usually how I feel 99.999% of the time. But anomalies do get thrown out in stats and analytics for a reason. Just something to keep in mind. Now, if we string together a few more +4 TO games, then that will really be something. Edited November 13, 2020 by DrDawkinstein me grammar good 1

All I will say is, the same goes for every team in the league though. Its not like we are the only team that has 4 TO games in their stats. 1 1
Just in Atlanta Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Differential is a great indicator of success. We're no. 9 at plus 3. Only one above us (the browns) are likely not a playoff team. We're no. 2 in fumble recoveries, which I would not have guessed.
LABILLBACKER Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Still giving up 25.9 pts/game. 18th in the league. Call me when that number gets under 12th. 1
HOUSE Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 I was thinking about this the otter day amazing... 1
