Not even for Mahomes. Not that I don't think Mahomes is the better QB. But, I'm really enjoying rooting for this team, right now. THIS team.Josh hasn't even reached his ceiling yet. When he does, I want him to be in a Bills uniform.

AND, he’s still on the cheap. You could argue Wilson or Rodgers might give us a better chance for a SB if it was this year, or maybe next. BUT, they have much bigger cap hits. Josh will see his pay day in time, of course But today........

I wouldnt trade him for anyone. 
 

This season I have him as QB4 in the NFL as well. But the thing is I wouldnt want the 3 QBs ahead of him. I understand Mahomes. The dude is amazing. Mahomes is better than Allen now (and possibly always), but Allen is freaking amazing and he’s ours. My eyes aren’t straying.

Not sure there is any other QB + WR combo that would be appealing. Does Ciara sit in the stands to watch Russel Wilson and Metcalf? That might make me consider it. 

 

On my deal, my hypothetical response. 

We've seen Jamal Adams and Laremy Tunsel go for 2 first rounders, so I think the conversation doesn't even begin until you have 3 first rounders on the table. However, that isn't fair value for a young star QB, and no GM will give up 4 or 5 first rounders, so you need players.

 

Sure, draft picks from the Jets or Jags would be good, but what players do they offer up that move the needle? Beuller....Bueller? You need some real blue chip guys to keep the conversation going.  In this case, I picked Kamara and Peat because they are at lower value positions, but are both tremendous players. It be great to pick up a pass rusher or left tackle, but that's too risky for my taste.

I agree.....but there’s another thing you can’t put a price on.  Winning a Super Bowl.....and I know Mahomes can deliver it.  It’ll be special when and if JA, gets us one.....but if he doesn’t, it won’t be worth not paying the price

How did you come up with a 3rd in 2022? Why not a 1st in 2023.

This thread makes me happy.  It also makes me think.  It makes me think that I wouldn’t trade Josh for Mahomes either.  Josh is OUR QB.  We waited long enough, but now we’ve got him.  He may not be the best in the world right now, but gosh darn it if I don’t think he will be at some point, even it’s for only a year.  That year, he’ll deliver is the super bowl we’ve been waiting for.
