One of those games where you start asking yourself can they win a Super Bowl?

the saints would worry me, but the afc is much more of a gauntlet

Shut up.

I guess that says it all ;)

I figured he would crawl under a rock after his point differential is so important as the 9th and 10th tie breaker thread ;)

7 for sure games and  2 or 3 playoff games before we even need to think of them ;)

Particularly if Morse is out long term. Dawkins, Spain, Mongo, Ford, Williams would be solid. Can’t complain too much about how Böttger and Bates have played though.

I don’t think Morse will be ouT long term. Looks like is already Close to returning to practice how he was out there on Friday doing work off to the side. I worry about his concussion history in general, but this one doesn’t appear too severe.

Gambling was the game plan i think. We knew it was gonna be a shoot out so we stayed aggressive to try and get the TOs (they did too I’ll note). It’s an interesting tactic in a battle with two high powered offenses. I would like to see it again if/when we come across the chiefs again.

This is exactly right and what I’ve been wanting them to do since we lit up Miami. We can score with anyone, be aggressive on D. No more sagging zone slow death.

Media narrative going into Sunday: “Josh Allen and the bills really need to show they can hang with elite teams.”

Media narrative Monday: “wow, the seahawks defense is so bad.”

Tre' is very disciplined.  If he was gambling, the game plan called for that.

I would really love to hear an explanation of what happened on that David Moore TD. The announcers spent zero time on it.

what happened on the play was a total bull rush off Wilson. He scrambled all around, and then escaped to his right.  On the run, he threw that heave to the endzone for a TD.

there was a receiver on the same side of the field around the 20-yard line, and I think When Wilson scrambled right, white peeled off Moore to run up to double that receiver.

if I had to guess, he was reading Wilson’s eyes. But I am Not sure whether there was supposed to be help over the top. Taron Johnson ran back in a futile attempt to get to Moore, and so I am not sure if he was supposed to pick Moore up or what.

it was sort of a critical play, and I was worried about it sparking a late comeback. Just curious what happened.

If you reach out to Sal or Matt Parrino, they might ask Frazier today, or White if he has media availability during the week.

I'm worried about White's ankle. We need a healthy secondary against the Cards.

This. After it was clear Allen had all day to pick apart their D, the Hawks had to start bringing the house. To their credit they got a boat load of sacks, but we adjusted.

Per Carroll's presser, they were putting what they thought was some pressure on Allen early hee hee.  Allen was stepping up and dodging and Carroll commented in his post game presser "I think in the first half there was a stretch where every time he moved out he hurt us"

I loved it where in Josh's presser one of the first things he said was "I took too many sacks".  Said some he could have changed with protection and some with answers.  I will say to Allen's credit he was less of a wild-man and protected the ball and his body instead.

Didn’t he get cut cuz he sucked? Once Ford and Morse are back with Mongo the Oline will be better. Josh got sacked so many times today because the Seahawks were bringing 5-6-7 guys via the blitz. Then Daboll called some screens and the Seahawks had no one out there to defend them.

No, I think Spain got benched because he had some problems in pass protection, Williams was locking down the RT position, and mostly the Bills wanted to try Ford at both sides on guard.  And I think he didn't take it well - he wanted to start, not to be a swing backup guard.   Instead of making it an opportunity to show he's better than this guy, sit him start me - he may have made mistakes when brought in at RG after Winters got hurt in the Raiders game.  Behind the scenes he may have been "not coachable" about the mistakes he showed in the pass game vs Miami and about becoming a better run blocker.  There was that fishiness about the sudden "injury" before Tennessee.

The Bills know he's a good player, but they want their backup players to have Feliciano's attitude - "I'll play either side, whatever the team needs" and that awareness that the game has, as Dawkins said, "100% injury rate" on OL and everyone is one snap away from playing in the game and starting the next one.  Then it's up to you what you show.

Could be wrong, what I saw was Taron Johnson watching what was happening in the pocket with keen interest, as if he was on his couch at home, instead of watching his assignment.

I predict Josh wins his 2nd AFC Player of the Week this week. Also predict he, Diggs, Poyer make All Pro.

Way to soon to predict this.  After all Flaco & Newton are on tap tonight!

Wait, I'm behind the curve, what happened to Sam Darnold?

Edit: never mind, I got it now.  Reinjured throwing shoulder (can we say "rushed back"?)

Not sure (shoulder again) but I heard Flaco was starting.  But if Darnold shows up then Chandler is way premature about handing Allen the AFC offensive player of the week award!

Awwww, Poor Russ!  News flash, other QB get hit too.  The Bills possibly may have a bit of an advantage preparing to face a slippery agile QB.  They've not only seen them before, they have one in the locker room.

PS Allen got hit a bunch too

Well the funniest thing I read was some Seahawks fans calling for Gino during the game on their forum

I saw that too. They chalked it up as an L and didn’t want Russ to get hurt

Makes sense... But it's still kinda funny.

I had read their prediction thread last week and the one poster predicted the Bills wouldn’t even get a TD. Then another said Russ already had his one annual game quota of multiple turnovers so there was no risk of that. lol
