RJsackedagain Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Joey Harrington has no excuses now. WOW! 313944 Cajun you might be able to play QB in Detroit now with those 3 guys
turftoe Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Derrick Johnson goes to the Lions and the Cowgirls grab the kid from Troy State 313931 I agree. Johnson, Merriman, and Ware will likely be off the board over the next few picks.
34-78-83 Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Welcome in the next run -n- shoot team, the Detroit Lions! Poor move for overall team development IMO... but it will be exciting at times.
SilverNRed Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Joey Harrington has no excuses now. WOW! 313944 SOMEONE will get it done with those three on the field. Damn!
CajunBillsBacker Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Cajun you might be able to play QB in Detroit now with those 3 guys 313946 haha, no kidding. Not to mention Kevin Jones in the backfield.
Like A Mofo Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 I smell a trade for the Lions...maybe they will make a deal with the Chargers????
Clockwork Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 haha, no kidding. Not to mention Kevin Jones in the backfield. 313950 Also DeMulling and Woody doing the blocking
CosmicBills Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 I smell a trade for the Lions...maybe they will make a deal with the Chargers???? 313951 Well, maybe not. Charlie Rogers is probably done with football. Once you break a collar bone, it never heals and keeps rebreaking. He's already done it twice. This is just an insurance policy (not to mention the best player in the draft). I don't expect Rogers to make it through another NFL season healthy.
Sound_n_Fury Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 I smell a trade for the Lions...maybe they will make a deal with the Chargers???? 313951 Boy, after all the pre-draft talk about trades, trades, trades...it's been really quiet.
CosmicBills Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 What time will the Bills pick? 6pm? 313958 Probably 730. lol just a guess.
UConn James Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Matt Millen needs to be hit with the clue stick. This three 1st round WRs in the past three drafts? He's ignored his defense. And his offense isn't that good w/ Harrington at the helm.
Clockwork Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Cowboys get Ware. Seems like a good fit for them.
cale Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 He's just stuck in a situation where the crappy teams don't feel that QB is a top need, and those teams are not in a position to take "best available" even if he ranked higher than their picks. I'm sure he'll be happy to end up on a decent team... Nice to see ESPN.com finally got their draft tracker fixed and working right... 313942 Yeah, it's just that all the reports have him as a high character guy - coachable. Questionable arm. Maybe the Tedford jinx is true. I think the big knock was shotgun passer.
Beerball Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Well, maybe not. Charlie Rogers is probably done with football. Once you break a collar bone, it never heals and keeps rebreaking. If I were a Lions fan I would have no trouble with this pick. As a matter of fact I would be loving it.
RJsackedagain Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 I smell a trade for the Lions...maybe they will make a deal with the Chargers???? 313951 Hey Big Stein, I think that smell is your 200 million dollar ballclub losing again
Live&DieBillsFootball Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Here's a deep thought....I'll bet that San Diego doesn't draft Aaron Rodgers.
CajunBillsBacker Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Seeing how happy Eli Manning was to be holding the Chargers jersey on the stage gets better each time it's shown!
SilverNRed Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Hey Big Stein, I think that smell is your 200 million dollar ballclub losing again 313972 Is that what that is? I thought something died in here.
