There's a lot of pessimism after these two division wins following two discouraging losses.

However, we're 6-2, 4-0 in the division, and have a clear path to host our first playoff home game since the Clinton administration.  What are your predictions for the rest of the season?  Here's mine.

Seattle - L - Offense will get back on track with a more favorable matchup without a monsoon.  Wilson is too much for this defense and we lose in a shootout Seahawks 41, Bills 31.

@Cardinals - W - Give me this offense against a suspect defense in a dome every time.  I see a similar game to the one we played in Vegas.  Bills 38, Cardinals 27.

Bye - We fricken need the bye as we'll be banged up the next couple of games.

Chargers - W - This is the game where we deliver an unexpected blowout.  We match up well against this team and we give the rookie QB fits.  Bills 34, Chargers 13.

@49ers - L - Not a good matchup for our defense with the 49er's dominating rushing scheme.  This one could get ugly  49ers 43, Bills 18.

Steelers - L - A much better effort but their defense does just enough to limit the Bills offense to under three TD's.  Steelers 28, Bills 20.

@Broncos - W - will be hearing we're a paper tiger by the national media all week.  Bills come out hungry and win.  Bills 27, Broncos 17

@Patriots - W - Our first prime time win of the year against a Patriots team that may be sellers at the deadline coming up.  Bills 24, Patriots 21

Dolphins - W - Josh Allen puts up 400 plus yards again and we secure the #3 seed in the playoffs with a revenge home game against the covid Titans in the playoffs.  Bills, 42, Fins 24

We finish 11-5 and host the Titans as the Colts take that division.

I will say they go 5-3 or 4-4 for the 2nd half of the season. 5-3 if they get the Hawks/Cards split. If they get swept 4-4.

Wins - split/swept Hawks/Cards, Chargers, Broncos, Pats, Fins

Lose - split/swept Hawks/Cards, Steelers, 49ers

If Buffalo can go 4-4, I'll be pretty happy.  I think the floor is 2-6, so I guess I'll split the difference at 3-5.  Buffalo will beat the Chargers, Cardinals and Dolphins.  They'll have to beat New England in an away game to hit the high end of the range.

I expect 4-4 to 5-3 here out in all honesty. This is a 10-11 W team even with a weaker D thus far this year.

I really hope this D and O really start firing on all cylinders a few weeks before the playoffs starts.

Has anyone looked at the dolphins 2nd half schedule? They can easily finish this season with 9-10 wins. it is much easier than ours.

the last game of the season might come down to the division title vs Miami. I don't know why everyone keeps counting them out of the division race.

I agree.  I changed my opinion after this weekend.  I honestly think the Bills are now 50-50 to win the division.  I can the Dolphins improving and the Bills collapsing. The Bills run defense is that bad.

The Bills are hungry for a bye. Hopefully the Bills can split the next two games and go 7-3 into that bye. This it just seems like the Bills are more banged up than they were in other years.

Milano and Edumonds were hurt week 1 and both have missed time and regressed. Mongo started the year hurt, John Brown has been banged up, Tre got banged up and missed a week, Levi and Hyde are banged up. Ford is banged up. Now Mitch is likely missing at least a few weeks.

It seems like each week guys are getting hurt consistently. I think this week about half way in would have been a good time for a bye week but 2 weeks down a week off might be what hopefully gets the team going.

I mentioned this in my mid year review thread the Bills have got hit with injuries to a level they haven't seen since McBeane took over. Last years defense was incredibly healthy with virtually no starters missing any time. Injuries are kind of a luck thing and it has finally swung against Buffalo this year. I think people are actually now underappreciating their ability to win despite being out Milano, Brown, Feliciano until this week, etc.. for long periods of time.

Garrapolo out indefinitely.  Any one want to want to change their tune or are we still going 7-9?

Came to post the same thing. Kittle gone too with a foot fracture.

Give me wins over SF, DEN, LAC and MIA and I'll be happy as a clam. Don't see wins over PIT or SEA and ARI and NE are tossups for me.

5 wins down the stretch. they will not only win the division crown, they will sweep it.

11-5

3 losses will be, hate to say, seattle and arizona and then to the steelers who I believe will be in the afcc game against the chiefs. big ben and the steelers against (god I hate saying this) the bucs and brady. shocker will be tommy losing the sb and finally retiring?

Bills path to 10-6. Wins vs SF and AZ can get team to 12-4. Bills need to take one of the 3 vs SEA, AZ, SF to finish 11-5.

Fins path to 10-6. Miami has a much easier schedule. Not out of the question that final week Bills and Dolphins game is for the division and a playoff spot. Miami win over AZ would be huge for them so Bills fans better be cards fans this week. They win vs AZ and beat BUF they get to 12-4.

SEA (L) 6-3

@AZ (L) 6-4

LAC (W) 7-4

@SF (L) 7-5

PIT (L) 7-6

@DEN (W) 8-6

@NE (W) 9-6

MIA (W) 10-6

Fins path to

@AZ (L) 4-4

LAC (W) 5-4

@DEN (W) 6-4

@NYJ (W) 7-4

CIN (W) 8-4

KC (L) 8-5

NE (W) 9-5

LAV (W) 10-5

BUF (L) 10-6

I'm thinking 6-2 to finish.

Seattle is an L.  Wilson is just on another level.

Arizona is a tossup but I'll say W because it's in a dome and their run defense isn't good.

The bye week will be a godsend. Get Milano healthy!

LAC is a win.  Clown on McD all you want for gameday decisions, Anthony Lynn has perfected the art of the close loss.

SF is an upset win.  That roster has been utterly decimated by injury.  No Kittle, no receivers, no quarterback, just stack the box all game.

Pittsburgh is a loss.  They're too good.  I haven't seen a team that balanced since the 2017 Eagles.

Denver is a win because they're bad.

New England is a win because they're bad.

Miami - I don't know.  I expect them to be playing for playoff seeding at this point, so they probably wouldn't rest their starters, and Allen has played 5 games against Miami and destroyed them every time.  If the starters play it's a win barring the Dolphins defense and special teams putting up 21 points again.

So 12-4 or perhaps 11-5.  10-6 would be an improvement over last year, but still disappointing for a team with Super Bowl aspirations.  9-7 would be worrying and anything worse would be a complete meltdown.

I said 7-9 after a similar exercise a few weeks ago but since we beat the Pats today we might go 8-8 since I thought this would be a loss.

Upcoming schedule is simply brutal and I thought the only possible win and game will be favored in is the Chargers but man does that team and QB look good today and wouldn't be surprised if they came into Buffalo and destroy this team.

Spot the Chargers 16 pts and the win is in the bag

I'm not going to do a game by game breakdown because they are absolutely meaningless. Any given Sunday, especially in the modern NFL.

That said, I'm feeling 4-4.

End 10-6 and AFC East Champs. Which is excellent. So happy to win the division again, and during a season with so many weird distractions AND the hardest schedule we've had in some time.

It also means we're going to be losing as much as we are winning through the last 8 games, and I'm not sure the Bills Fans I've seen from the last 24 hours have the psyche strong enough to handle losing a few games. But that's on them. I'll be along for the entire roller coaster ride.

GO BILLS!

What is MIA record if we are resting starters?

Below .500

I would like that. But that would mean they only win 3 vs NYJ, DEN, NE, CIN, LAV, LAC, AZ, KC. I think the NYJ, DEN, NE games are very winnable games for them. Then add in CIN and LAC as winnable. The KC, LAV and AZ games are the toughest.

I think they beat the Jets and maybe Denver.  And that's it.
