I don’t want to see us in man either of the next two weeks.

We will need the bend but don’t break McD, yardage and minimal points strategy.

We won’t win foot races and we need to contain both QB’s

It really doesn't matter when your QB continues to panic and take off from a clean pocket like Allen has the last 4 games. It's almost like he forgot there are other players to throw the ball to besides Diggs.

I still blame Daboll though because he's one of the worst OC's in the league but at least he didn't try any of the jet sweep garbage today which helped this team get lucky and win.

Blatently not true. You're a hack.

We dont play man so Tre wont be shadowing anybody.  I hope they do play man against the Bills , seems like Josh is much better right now at beating man to man coverage  Still not taking the underneath freebies enough against zone.  Maybe Dabol needs to make the 2nd  read against zone a simple checkdown

Josh took what the Jets gave him and carved them up he just struggled in the redzone uncharacteristically. The pats game was awful weather conditions and a great ground game going. I don't see any reason why Josh couldn't adjust to taking what a defense is giving him against a soft zone.

Which part?

I'm not saying Allen is terrible but something has clearly happened in the last 4 games vs the first four so if it's not soley on him you have to point the finger at Daboll. Who again, I'll remind fans here has never had a top 10 NFL offense in all the years he's been an OC in this league going back to KC/CLE/MIA when he held similar (failed) roles.

All he's proven to be is another marginal position coach/assistant that rode the coattails of Brady/Belichik/McDaniels and these are the facts.

Josh looked mediocre in the two losses against the Chiefs and Titans but I don't see too much cause for concern against the Jets and Pats. In the Jets game Josh and the offense didn't punt and put up over 400 yards. They just uncharacteristically struggled in the redzone.

The Pats game was bad weather and the ground game took over. Josh only threw 18 times. He did pretty solidly in those attempts outside of the INT that wasn't on him. Overall I think Josh is growing into an elite QB, he is learning to how teams will adjust to his strengths and what to do against a blitz.

The defense is the big worry at this point

Haha. He's on a roll tonight. I said the same thing in another thread that he started. Yikes.

Leaving the pocket could bring a defender out of coverage and open someone up...allen doesn't seem to be panicking and leaving the pocket to gain yards with his legs at all...his eyes are always downfield

I just dont understand why were complaining about a defense dropping extra guys into coverage because they respect our qb lol if you can't at least threaten to run the ball you're not gonna win in this league I don't care who your quarterback is.  We have been horrendous running the football up until this week which makes it difficult to score in the red zone..  josh's flaw is he tries to turn plays where he should just take what the defense gives him into absurd big chunk plays which is exactly what defenses are counting on and he seems to be improving in that regard.
