That was an impressive play. I think he's coming along just fine. I will wait to be more critical until he puts in a full season. For a late 2nd round pick I think he is doing okay. If he were a high first I would have higher expectations though. It's play #8 from the review. 1
Buffalo Junction Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 I’m not worried about the kid yet. We’ll see how he looks after a solid year in an nfl conditioning program. If I had to guess they’ll look to eventually have him play DE on 1st and 2nd, then slide him inside on obvious passing downs.

HOUSE Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 A rookie without a training camp is doomed to fail in the first few months of the season. Still learning but I am impressed with his quickness 1

I was thinking this exact same thing, his burst off the snap with the weight loss is noticeable. His long arms and hand placement are very good, I feel like he will develop into a solid to good DE. I also get the feeling he is one of those film guys who spend hours studying his opponents weakness then exploits them.
ghostwriter Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 I think he’s going to be just fine.. Doubt he’ll be a 20 sack a year kind of guy but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him post double digit sacks multiple times over the course of his career.. I actually think he’ll be good.
Nitro Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 The guy will be fine and have a successful career with the Bills. One more solid off season in the weight room and he will be in the rotation. 1
Buffalo Bills Fan Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Ya I think he's getting better. Think he'll be a solid to a good player.

You’d think they’d know by now after minicamp, OTAs, training camp and preseason games.. People act like Rookisevand coaches didn't have all these opportunities this year for some reason. BananaB Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 From what I seen so far this year, you don’t notice the kid much and then he makes one really nice play that makes you think to yourself, who the ***** was that.
Mr. Wonderful Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 May develop...may not. Too early to pass judgement.
billieve420 Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Expecting rookies to make much of an impact during this COVID Era is a bit unrealistic. Rookies are behind the curve starting out to begin with and this just made it harder for them to become instant contributors.
buffalojedwardo Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 maybe we should convert him to TE and make Knox a DE.
Richard Noggin Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 8 hours ago, RyanC883 said: that’s a fair point. I’m thinking when they drafted him, what was the plan? Perhaps they anticipated better DL play so that they had time to adjust in-season. Still for a highish pick it seems odd that they don’t know how to best use him. I'm guessing the plan was something like: holy hell, Epenesa fell to us in the 2nd effing round?! We cannot pass on that kind of value. Draft him and figure it out later. BPA and let McD and his coaches figure it out. Let's hope they do. 1

RobbRiddick Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Well, he already has more sacks for us than Aaron Maybin!
TN Bills Fan Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Looks like an Outside linebacker to me. Unless he can put on significant weight and muscle. 2
