machine gun kelly Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 He never played well on the Jets, but it’s the Jets. As said, this a low risk, maybe decent reward for him and not costly. Don’t hold you’re breath we trade for some expensive piece this weekend or by Tuesday. Beane is too smart for a decision that would hurt us down the road. 1
aristocrat Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 he's got speed which is always great. but so does edmunds. maybe in this scheme he can pull his career together but im not holding my breath
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Jerry Hughes was considered a bust after 3 years with the Colts. I am going to make a sacrifice to Jobu and pray that Lee blossoms under Frazier and McDermott. 1
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 (edited) Tweener - plays soft, and isn't good enough in coverage to play big nickel. He doesn't have the chops to mix it up with a slot receiver, and he doesn't have the processing to play like a box safety. So if he's milano depth, i'd be concerned about his run defense since he isn't a heady player. Anything else and Im worried about his pass defense. Edited October 30, 2020 by dneveu

Nextmanup Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Seems like there is still no new news on this. "Expected" to join but not "has joined" as of now.
ColoradoBills Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 8 pages about a PS/Non-Vet minimum signing? If they do sign him and he helps great. If he doesn't play or play well he will get cut. 2

1st Ammendment NoMas Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 (edited) My NY JetsFan buddy says Lee has no instinct, no guts and won't hit. "Lee sucks" were his words. He said he overruns plays, takes bad angles and avoids contact. Sounds like an Edmunds clone. Here's to hoping he can help with the D. I really wish we could acquire some size on the DL. We are so small and with Butler hurt all the time, the alternative is getting bullrushed all the time. Edited October 30, 2020 by BillsRdue

QCity Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 (edited) Good athlete, but not a good football player. Edited October 30, 2020 by QCity

True so far, but he is only 26 and most of his career has been spent on the dysfunctional Jets. I think taking a chance on him turning his career around is well worth it. A former 1st rndr with elite LB speed who plays STs, definitely worth a shot imo. 3

Logic Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 How has the title of this post not yet been changed? He has only visited, if I'm not mistaken, and there's no evidence that he is actually signing here.

This defence has been brutal when Milano is not on the field. 5 hours ago, Logic said: How has the title of this post not yet been changed? He's not been a good player. That said sometimes scheme fit can change a players career. A trade I would watch for is maybe a swap of DT's, Harrison Phillips for Giants NT Dalvin Tomlinson.
