uticaclub Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 A high Punt average isn't always great. You'd rather be 5 yards short and pin your opponent than 5 yards long with a touchback

Punt Return Avg: Roberts leads the NFL at 13.1 yard/return (2nd place is 9.8) Kick Return Avg: Roberts 2nd in the NFL at 29.3 yards/return(Cordarelle Patterson leads with 29.6 yards/return) Punt Avg: Bojorquez 3rd in the NFL at 50.8 yards/punt(Jack Fox(DET) leads with 53.4 yards/punt and Cameron Johnston(PIT) 2nd at 50.9 yards/punt) There's an article in todays BN about Bojorquez backing up the stats you're stating and how the Bills were able to acquire steal him from the Pats. For the past two years practically everyone here was trying to run him out of town. If GM decisions were made by up/down votes here, he'd be long gone. Now he's doing well (except when he looks for the laces) My point is Bass could be just like him, also a rookie, shows enough in the games and even more in practice that the Bills aren't going to give up on him. He has the leg required to play in western NY as did Bojorquez . Excluding a complete meltdown, doubt he'll be going anywhere this year or even next unless the team can somehow get someone markedly better.

Surprisingly the thing Bojo has done really well the past 2 years, dropping the ball inside the 20, he has struggled with this year with a lot of TBs.
Nitro Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 Today will be a test. Weather is a hue factor. Belichick will pull out a few tricks to gain an advantage like onside kick or reverses on returns. I think the Bills will dominate IMO
