maryland-bills-fan Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Here is what I mean. The Bills were caught trying to figure out who to prepare for when the Titans were next on the schedule. the Bills didn't know if they would play the Titans or the Chiefs. and had 9 days before this game suddenly got scheduled AND were preparing two different game plans. The Titans KNEW they would be playing the Bills (or that they would have 3 weeks off) AND had 16 days to prepare for the game, get plans and get healthy. Next up was the superbowl KC chiefs. KC had 9 days to prepare and were pissed coming off of a close loss. Bills had 6 days to prepare, were banged up and were coming off of a loss. It doesn't cause those losses BUT it didn't do us any favors. 4
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 And who knows how much better or worse it will get as the season wears on.
JoPoy88 Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 So dwell on it now and make excuses. That’ll certainly prevent the league from doing it again in the future. 🙄
Brennan Huff Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 If you eat your steak well done, you might as well just eat a pork chop instead. 2 3 1
Malazan Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 You beat the team in front of you. Right now, that's the Patriots. 1
BillsfaninSB Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 The writing was on the wall big and bright. We were going to lose those two games regardless when played given the injuries and defensive vulnerabilities. 1

It’s just the strangest year ever, and I’m happy they are managing to make it happen. When we raise the Lombardy Trophy this will all be long forgotten! . Edited October 28, 2020 by Augie

DDCC Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 No wonder we are viewed as cry babies. You play who you play and when. We didn’t lose either game because of the schedule. We were outplayed period. Geez. We are not a good football team. We are middle of the road at best. I see 8-8 1
unbillievable Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 (edited) the Patriots play Baltimore and Houston the Bills play Pittsburgh and Tennessee The rest of their schedules are the same. Edited October 28, 2020 by unbillievable 1
TwistofFate Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 We have had disadvantages, but it's irrelevant at this point. We still have to make it happen. Every team deals with set backs via injury, covid, schedule changes, etc. The thought process now is....beat New England's ass.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 I’m actually proud of the responses on here. We’ve definitely grown as a fan base. Maybe the younger kids are complaining but we’ve seen enough garbage to know the corner is turned. It’s not going to be a 16-0 season but it’s a product we haven’t consistently had in more than a decade. I’ll take it ten times out of ten.
