I was told this was why we drafted Allen, so not going to be adamant this changes our offensive game plan

Yep, I always hated that narrative, so overused and painfully cliche.  How many games does the legendary bad weather of WNY really impact every year, maybe 2?

It is weird - this kind of weather DOES favor the Pats, at least on paper, for the 1st time in 2 decades.

They are much more of a running team this year - and we're not good against the run.

Hopefully the forecast changes a bit as the week goes on.  This game is an important one for my overall mental health and well being.

Hopefully, McClappy sees the weather report ahead of time and decides to have the D schemes for it.  Stack the box, have a Spy on Cam (let Edmunds do it, at least he’ll know his assignment), and no friggin zone D to let them throw the easy short throws they want in that weather.

More likely we see a soft cover 2 with the corners giving a 10 yard cushion to guys who wouldn’t make most team’s practice squad, leave the middle of the field wide open for Edelman, Cam runs for 120+ and 3 scores.  Meanwhile, Daboll will outsmart Bellicheck by going deep on 79% of the passes in the first half, getting JA to a 30% completion percentage with 8 3 and outs, the first touch for a running back will come on a JA fumble recovery.  And after the blow out, the headlines are “The Pats are back!”

Who the hell are you, and why are you on a Bills site since you clearly hate the team?

I bet the Bills have lost more bad-weather home games than they’ve won over the past 20 years or so.

I know there have been plenty of memorable bad weather games in Miami too, but you never hear about drafting guys who can play in hurricanes.

Cam seems to still have some arm strength, but he's actually struggled more throwing short.  When he has to take something off he's just scattershot - and they have like no deep threats.  I expect them to just hammer the run game a lot in this one.

Yeah, idk about that. He had a WR running wide open down the left sideline on Sunday for what would have been a sure TD, looked like he threw it as hard as he could, and came up about 3 yards short. Even the commentator mentioned it after the play, how it was only a 45 yard pass and Cam didn't seem like he could get it out there.

Oh, how I wish I could be there to sit thru that. Alas, we are not allowed. Fortunately, the forecast in my family room is 76 degrees and dry! That forecast is unlikely to change.  As much as I love attending games, it’s made for home viewing where I can get a bite to eat without a second mortgage and pee without a detailed plan.

I was actually thinking about building the first completely underground stadium.  We could call it The Dungeon.

I still believe this favors us. Josh has the arm to cut through the wind. Cam's arm looks dang near shot out there. We should load the box against the run and see if Cam can beat us throwing the football. Allen can throw those underneath and intermediate routes all day long. This is a different team we are facing than pervious year. I'm not going to go out and bet $15,000 on the game like StHustle or anything like that, but I like our chances .

Hey screw you pal! 😂 And I'm almost back to even after hitting on 3 three team parlays last weekend! I'm done betting on the Bills this season. I went years without doing it. Best to keep emotion away from gambling decisions. I do very well overall and almost 100% on bets when I'm as confident as I was with that 15k bet. How humbling an experience that was. Shout out to whatever mod deleted my thread!
