...to their practice squad. Dez really benefitted from the new Covid PS rules. Of course if he still has anything left,  he'll be promoted rather quickly. With Ravens severely lacking in WR production, this signing could have a sizeable impact on their offensive versatility when and if we meet them in the postseason.

I always liked Dez. His passion scares alot of people cause he is big and aggressive with it, but I always felt he got a bad rap and deserved another shot in the league if he got himself back healthy enough. Im rooting for the guy except when we face them.

I feel like Jackson doesn't trust his arm enough to make certain throws to his WR's. I would've liked to see Hopkins go the the Ravens to prove my theory correct. LB's keying on Jacksons elite athletic ability or the RB's is what opens up the TE's for Jackson to get easy yards.

I’d be surprised if

A) he makes the active roster on a gameday B) he can contribute for them

I don’t think their wide receivers are totally the problem and I’m not sure Dez can get open anymore after the injuries and time off

Why would you be surprised. All reports said he looked good before injury with the saints. So just assume after the injury he can't heal up effectively and contribute or even be good enough for the active roster even tho their WR corp is highly suspect?

This feels like when Jerry Rice signed with the Broncos.

You want it to be successful and be a great story, but getting old sucks for everyone.

He’s on the wrong side of 30 and hasn’t played in a really long time. And I don’t think their receivers are that bad. Sneed, Boykin and brown isn’t a terrible set of guys. Rather design of offense or Jackson’s limitations they don’t throw outside the hashes much unless it’s deep and to the right.

Not Andre Reed with the Broncos/Redskins?
