HappyDays Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 I'm not usually the type to push for trades but this makes too much sense. He has experience working with Leslie Frazier and obviously fills a need. 4 1

MAJBobby Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 (edited) Give a 3rd if they Take Murphy’s contract back. Edited October 26, 2020 by MAJBobby
ChanticleerBillsFan Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Not sure we would be interested. I think he was available late into the offseason and we didn’t make a move.
Blank Stare Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Could’ve been had for free and Leslie passed. I don’t see it happening. 2
ngbills Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Can they guarantee the 2014-17 version of him? 2
Process Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Don't we have enough old, average DEs? He hasn't had double digits sacks since 2017. DT is much bigger need and getting a big guy in the middle will help us get more from the DEs we have. 6

A 3rd for a player that is a FA and won’t get much back as a comp pick? Idk man. I agree that we NEED to make a move or two if we want to compete for a SB, but a third for him?? That’s nuts to me. I’d trade a 6th for him Edited October 26, 2020 by NewEra 1

Is that because he's making a "career decision" on a floundering team, or due to scheme, or ?? We could certainly use an edge rusher. But I'm not sure he's the guy that McBeane be moving the draft picks for.

So gonna pay more to remove a contract.

No. But he had 8 sacks last year and I'm thinking he could be had for a 6th or 7th rounder. If they can take Murphy off our hands as part of it that's a bonus.

GunnerBill Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Brandon loves a 30 something edge rusher so......

HOUSE Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 (edited) I called One Bills Drive, the lady in ticket sales said she never heard of him... Edited October 26, 2020 by HOUSE 3
GreggTX Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 He's 32 and his performance has been slipping badly this season from years past. This is why Dallas is trying to unload him while they can still get something in return. Maybe he's just not motivated because the Cowboys are bad and their defense is worse.
