DCofNC Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 He looked better today, actually looked like he has a little speed, that said, I really question if he has any vision. DS is just too slow, he takes forever in the hole. The one nice hole he got on the left side would have been a TD with Henry running the ball, there’s a huge difference between the theory that RBs are a dime a dozen and having one that shows it’s not the case. Ask the Rams how life without Gurley is going, look at the difference maker Henry is, there is just a lack of talent at RB in the league if everyone is just the same. The Bills should have been looking at Dobbins or Swift this year, but instead they settle for mediocre.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Moss looked pretty good in the second half. We might be better off letting him start the game against NE and see if he can’t have a day.
Hebert19 Posted November 1, 2020 Author Posted November 1, 2020 Just gonna bump this again since so many of the responses aged so well. On 10/24/2020 at 9:23 PM, Bangarang said: Hard pass This one in particular

It shouldn’t be a coincidence that getting Mongo back greatly improved the run game.

My point was he needed more touches to get in a rhythm. Everyone went off like you just did. When he got more touches he was good. So yes. I will because there was logic behind it not just some random thought. And moss was very good last week too. No Mongo.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 I would like to see more of what I saw today. He and Singletary make for very complementary backs. I don't foresee either putting together consecutive games where one gets 100 yards, but running back my committee works well for what we have: a pass first offense.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 (edited) I think Moss is a piece. Singletary is a piece. They are missing their Mecole Hardman, whether or not it is a RB or WR, Moss and Single don’t offer the game changing breakaway TDs. Id like to see them get a legit 3rd guy that plays STs, is lightning, can catch the ball and be our upgraded McKenzie. Edited November 1, 2020 by EmotionallyUnstable 1

This one in particular Moss was used the same way he has been and should continue to be used: situationally, in the red zone He continues to be ineffective between the 20s unless the line has opened up a massive hole. They need Singletary's elusiveness to actually create opportunities in any other situation Neither guy seems to be able to break a huge one.

How was he going to be effective with no pre season and when he is use to 20+ carries a game...give him a shot. And it worked. 1 hour ago, LeGOATski said: Moss was used the same way he has been and should continue to be used: situationally, in the red zone He continues to be ineffective between the 20s unless the line has opened up a massive hole. Common sense said to give more carries to a guy who wasn’t being effective with the carries he was already getting? Okay dude. You threw crap at the wall and it just so happened that it worked when we got our best run blocker back. Guess what? Singletary also had a good game too. Kudos to you. Try not to break your arm patting yourself on tue back Edited November 1, 2020 by Bangarang

I was just searching around for a thread on this! Mongo had a huge impact on that OL.. Bates also had a great block on that 20 yard Moss run!

benderbender Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Moss needed 3.6 yards on this carry. Mongo helped him out lol
Hebert19 Posted December 14, 2020 Author Posted December 14, 2020 Gotta say loved Moss closing the game last night. Ran hard. Good vision. Ad the fact that Mcd gave him a chance after the fumbles last week is impressive.

He has had 1 here 1 there and is running like he is trying not to make a mistake. I'd like to see what happens if he got into a rhythm. He hasn't shown much yet but his style is more suited to wearing a team down not getting 3 carries a game. Thoughts. So far i've not been real impressed with Moss i wanted a bigger back i was hoping they would get a guy like Antonio Gibson or A.J. Dillon to be a bigger back to compliment Singletary . It seems as though they were hoping Moss could be that but he's the same size as Singletary and although he was a good back i don't see him as complimentary to motor . In todays NFL having a RB by committee RB's can't get into a rhythm like they use to King Henry wouldn't be doing what he is if he only had 15 carries a game .
