Hapless Bills Fan Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 The OLman Bills just elevated off the PS to give us 8 OL and the ability to carry a 48 man active roster on gameday... 6'6", 320 lbs, in his 7th year.
Sherlock Holmes Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Old... hopefully can run block better than what we have been seeing...
Aussie Joe Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 I just read his wiki page.. I would recommend you keep expectations low.. 1
Buddo Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Reading between the lines of Wikipedia, he's a backup quality interior lineman. Was a UDFA originally, for the Ravens, but has kicked around various teams. Has started 21 games in his career, but only due to injuries. In recent years, he's had a few of those himself. As someone I knew nothing about before, I'm less worried about him seeing the field, if necessary. 1

CSBill Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 well, he's a been able to keep a NFL job for 7 years, so I would speculate a capable back-quality veteran who won't hurt you. I hope.
IgotBILLStopay Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 He has played 43 games for the Pats (got a ring with them), 49ers, Chiefs and Raiders. Played for Memphis in the AAC. did not know much except allowing that sack of Brady by Justin Sack but came across this on google when we signed him to the PS. https://www.thechurchnews.com/members/2020-05-27/jordan-devey-nfl-player-football-raiders-chiefs-49ers-185243 here are his combine stats https://nflcombineresults.com/playerpage.php?i=10183 At this point he will not be worse than Winters / Ford - so I am good.
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 I predict he’ll be bouncing at the Sundowner by December 2

With the exception of 2015 SFO, the teams he's played for all have a tradition of quality OLs. His longest stint was KC from 2016-2018 - they were a playoff team all 3 years IR'd early in the season with Oakland last year and they brought him back this year before cutting him late. 6'6" is freakin' tall for a guard, but makes me wonder if he can run block better than what we're seeing. And could he play 1TDT? 1
LabattBlue Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 He is from the Dollar Tree clearance bin. That is all you need to know about him. 1

That is all you need to know about him. Truly, you gentlemen abash me with the depth of your knowledge and the wise brevity of your summations Not. A guy doesn't stick on the NFL roster of two different championship teams or in the NFL at all if he's "Dollar Tree" quality. He doesn't wind up on the PS of a fringe-playoff team if he's great, either, but there's plenty of space in between. Bouncing? Way out of scope for what even the backups make in the NFL. A 7 year NFL vet at minimum salary has earned something like $4M. Unless he's a wastrel, he's set. mykidsdad Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 WHAT IS OUR STARTING LINEUP ON THE O-LINE THIS WEEK?
MrEpsYtown Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 53 minutes ago, mykidsdad said: WHAT IS OUR STARTING LINEUP ON THE O-LINE THIS WEEK? Has to be Ike Boettger at LG. It’s either him or Ryan Bates. The fact that Ike came in when Ford got hurt last week, makes me think he’s the guy there this week.

Although, my perception at the time was that he got better as the game progressed. But he was, at best, getting pushed backwards on every play.
