ChevyVanMiller Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Took off this morning from the airport and said, “ Let’s go Buffalo,” in the most unique way. Very cool. https://www.wgrz.com/article/news/local/watch-man-flies-over-orchard-park-draws-bills-logo-in-the-air/71-5845e0b9-fad4-4a08-b06a-13903f0b72d7?fbclid=IwAR3KyfChdiUOtdMilaPykqM5C5eLBfeX-6QMWbokyRCmM2F35-VzCOZLBAA 3 5 1
Johnnycage46 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 (edited) That is crazy. I half expected to see the logo look like Allen's attempt at drawing it lol: Edited October 23, 2020 by Johnnycage46 1 5 1
Kwai San Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Sweet - one heck of a feat and NOT easy, as a single engine pilot myself I can attest when it is windy it is BRUTAL in a small plane! 2 1
zow2 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 The guy can fly a small plane in a pattern of a Bills logo 100x better than i can draw it with a pencil. That's some skill. 3 1

Blainorama5 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Impressive display - wonder how long it took to plot out that flight plan!
DJB Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 I honestly thought I was going to click and see the green "fairy" 3
Hapless Bills Fan Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 1 hour ago, LeGOATski said: How he doin that... My best guess is that he plotted out GPS coordinates that would generate the shape of the logo, programmed them into his GPS navigation system as a course, and flew from point to point. That said, it's a very skillful job because he had to make wind corrections on each leg and just fly very precisely, and the detail he put into it was amazing. Like I said, Boss move.

Marv's Neighbor Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Very nice job but 100LL goes for anywhere from $4.55-5.55 a gallon, depending on where you but it. He used 20 gallons, so is he a lawyer or dentist? Maybe not your typical "blue collar" fan, but very nice job. Couldn't do that over New York City, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco etc.
Stanley Lombardi Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 If there were a Fan Hall of Fame, this guy is first ballot unanimous.
