Surprised this hasn't been posted about.  A pretty bush league moves of Diggs to just walk back to the line on the last drive. A sign of low football character.

Where does that tradition to run as many plays as possible in a losing cause comes from? Here I'd understand as you know, onside kick, miracles and all.

Oh, come on.  His teammates still playing, he could jog to the line and get set.  It was a lack of focus on his part.  It will be addressed and hopefully he won't do it again.

Exactly.  Take Green Bay game down by 28. Put Love in and run your regular offense. 

Down 9 it would take a miracle.

I don't condone it but the game was over. 

 

Save the body for when it matters. No big deal.
