Playing smart football is not defeating yourself.  If the Bills are given only the underneath stuff, we need to take it and work with it...move the chains, run the clock, keep the other team off the field,  score points, even if they are FG...and come out with a win.

The Patriots have won many games the ugly way....the important point is making the critical plays....

And doing so will allow our D to rest, which should help

brown doesn’t even make a good decoy now.

games in which he was hurt in almost all of them.

Correct.

And he's still not up to par.

Daboll and Josh need to learn from each passing week. The Jets game showed that they had Beasley open all day long. This team has way more options than it did even a year ago. See how the opponent tries to play you and then be ready to adjust mid-game. They simply can’t cover everybody.

I would not be concerned with John Brown’s production.  I knew it would go down with Diggs on the team.  He opens up the field for others.  Smoke is a team player and very nice person.  He wants to win. Has a great presence in the locker room. Well respected by others. Plus he has been hurt.  I think he may be close to 100% after sitting out last week. I always count on him for one big crucial catch per game.  With the predicted weather conditions and game plan; not sure he will show huge in the stats but will open up room for other keep the fairh

Got it. Our best offensive player last season has a leg injury this season and has played in 5 games.  He has 2 tds (should’ve been 3) in those 5 games, but his catch% is down.  That means he should be forgotten.

so, we should do what with him?   Bench him?  Ignore him?  Use him as a decoy (but he’s not even good enough to be a decoy)?  Cut him? Trade him?

Do you man.  When Brown is healthy, he’ll be playing and Davis will be our 4th.  Our offense will be better because of it, regardless of what you think

The question answers itself.

He wasn't the best Offensive player last year.. he was the #1 WR only because they had no one else but Beasley.  He's not the #1WR  anymore.  He's played 3 of the last 5 games.  In 2 of those games he has a total of 6 targets and zero catches.  His last TD was in week 2.

Should they just keep sending him out there to limp around or start increasing targets to a sure-handed rookie who has shown he can make plays?  I have already answered this.

Who was the best offensive player, QB excluded?

He was also hurt in each of those games this year.  He’s been hurt all season.

They should sit him until he’s healthy and then put him out there as our #2 WR, someone who stretches the field, scores tds, opens the field up for the other playmakers and is a guy JA looks to go to when the play breaks down.

When he’s healthy, he’s a difference maker and better than Gabriel Davis at this point.  Look how great our O has been without him.  Look how great it was with him.

lol

Anyway...yes, he's hurt so move on (you favor "sit him" to "bench him"?--ok!) to Davis.  That wasn't as hard as you tried to make it.

No, forgetting him until he’s healthy is different than forgetting him.
