freester Posted April 23, 2005 Author Posted April 23, 2005 A 3? I doubt TD would do that. 313297 Its a little disappointing if true.
Coach Tuesday Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Explain to me how a third-round pick is better than a higher second round pick plus a starting lineman? I guess Shelton must really suck.

Brandon Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 And if Pro Football Talk says it, its gotta be true...
MadBuffaloDisease Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Explain to me how a third-round pick is better than a higher second round pick plus a starting lineman? I guess Shelton must really suck. I've heard them say that Shelton would be the 6th-best lineman, and at $3M a year, that's not worth it. And swapping 2nd's is worth a high 4th rounder. So if the Bills can get a 3rd, and then sign Shelton (cheaper than $3M a year) later if the Cards release him, it's a better deal all-around.

Bill from NYC Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 A 3? I doubt TD would do that. 313297 Especially if he were to be able to.
N.Y. Orangeman Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 If it is the #77 pick, I won't be disappointed, especially if there is a pick involved on the 2nd day. 55, 77, and 86 wouldn't be bad at all and would give TD flexibilty to move up if something becomes tempting.
Albany,n.y. Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 It better be pick 77, the 13th pick of the 3rd round. I'd rather trade Henry & flip picks with Philly in the 3rd(86 for 94) &4th (122 for 132) and get Philly's 2nd at pick 63.

bleedinblue Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Yeah, pro football talk is about as reliable as a 85 Yugo
Albany,n.y. Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 And you suggest that there is even the most remote possibility of this? 313317 No, but without it we have absolutely no chance to get Nugent. With it, we've got a slim chance.

Arkady Renko Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 And if Pro Football Talk says it, its gotta be true... 313305 George Seifert will replace Gregg Williams as coach of the Bills...
