Those were some uncharacteristically dumb penalties for White and Hyde. Shows a level of frustration from our leaders in the secondary having to come up all game long and try to mop up for the front guys getting torched on every run. But they chose a really bad time to double-down on the dumb. That is when we needed a stop, not free 1st downs with 15 yards tacked on.

We were down by 7.  They were frustrated cuz they made bad plays.  I didn't agree with the Tre penalty.  If ya wanna call it unsportsmanlike then fine call that.  It wasn't any form of roughness.

Someone like Jordan Phillips sure could help us out.

There's no comparison between Lotulelei and J Phillips and the crap they have now starting at DT.

We both had 9 drives. And their defense is not any better than ours. Allen did settle down in the 4th but it's too late. We can't expect to beat the best offenses in the league with 3 quarters of bad QB play. I'm clinging to the hope that his injury is affecting him worse than we know... his regression the past two weeks defies reason.

Allen wasn't very good, but I also don't think he was as bad as our initial reaction is.

First of all, Daboll frustrates me... I feel like he's Jekyll and Hyde as an OC.  Our RBs just aren't very good... or our OL is just horrible at run blocking... or both.  Singletary had 1 run of 10 yards and 1 run of 9 yards at one point.  Other than those 2 runs our RBs still ran the ball 13 more times for a TOTAL of 23 yards.

We just get behind the sticks too often on those early downs and then have to rely on Allen to get us a 1st down.  And honestly, all year that's what he was doing with his arm... today he did it more often with his legs.  And the icing on the cake are the drops by our WRs.  I know the deep passes to Brown and Diggs in the EZ aren't drops, but those were good passes.  But Diggs had another drop at one point.  Brown had that drop on a perfectly thrown pass on 3rd and 10 on the very first drive that hit him in the facemask.  We've upgraded our WR corps for sure, but even before this game Allen was STILL suffering from highest drop % in the NFL.

And finally I really do think Allen has some Primetime Yips he needs to work through.  Last year I think I made the comment that Allen was much better on the road because there's less pressure to perform on the road than at home.  Same goes for Primetime games.

He's still growing, and I'm confident he will, but I think the fact that he didn't have much of a spotlight in HS, JuCo, or D1 College is factoring into his need to grow a bit more into the game.

When Starr opted out that should have been the writing on the wall we pay him, and Trent moved on.

The worst part about giving up 6,7, or 8 ypc to the rb was the feeling that kc was just content to play that game and could have just as easily destroyed us through the air at any point had they become dissatisfied with the perfect game script for the given weather conditions/opponent.

Mahomes certainly completed some passes with their scramble drill, but I don't think the Bills were giving him a lot of deep opportunities.

McD bet on our weak front-4 being able to contain their running game without dedicating too much of our secondary resources to the task. He even activated two guys who are more run stuffers. Yet, that bet did not pay out - especially against whatever KC was doing on the left side of their line as they were owning us on runs to that side.

Star was basically an immoveable object at DT.

He would tie up 2 OL every play and still held his ground. People got on him because he didn't pile up stats.

Yeah look at this "little girl" acting like a baby or something.

That’s what??? He walked to the line of scrimmage for one Offside. He didn’t look like he was running full speed. He dropped multiple passes. Diggs is a high energy dude nonstop go. I don’t know what kinda world you live in. But just because someone shakes my hand, doesn’t mean we’re friends. Something is off with this team.

Mahomes didn't need any deep balls.  Tannehill coud have rolled out for a first down every single play last week.  EVERY SINGLE PLAY.

Without Diggs this is a 1 win team.

I don’t agree with that. Diggs didn’t make Allen become better, Allen made Allen become better. I love Diggs but tonight his heart wasn’t in it.

My biggest observation from this game is Singletary can't break a tackle around the line worth a damn. Someone puts a couple fingers on him and he goes down right away

We were 1 inch from getting the ball with a chance to win.  That ball pops out a little earlier and we are in business

We were also in business with a chance to win at kickoff before the Chiefs did pretty much whatever they wanted.  The chances we pulled that game out were VERY VERY slim

Go to bed.

Diggs has been phenominal for this team. Allen has benefited off of it, and Diggs has taken advantage of many of his throws. Stop selling into the media narrative. By many accounts, Diggs is a hard worker and good teammate. This was one game, one play.

Meh.  He's small but he's not overly easy to bring down.  I had many bigger observations

Disagree.

I like Single alot, and think he has some serious shake to his game.

That being said, he will NEVER bust one 50+ to the house. He is a motor, and will chug along, but cannot be relied upon to provide a spark.

Said the same exact things last week. Nice words, need action.

Did anyone think he'd say anything different? He's been spoon fed these answers for years.
