Aussie Joe Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Jimmy G chances of converting 3rd and 9 are pretty minimal...

Penfield45 Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 (edited) Both the Giants and 49ers who don't have good defenses this season have played well vs the Rams yet our defense gave up a 28-3 lead. I'm starting to think our defense is far worse than some of us think....might be bottom 3 in the league. That desperately needs to get fixed. Edited October 19, 2020 by Penfield45
Warcodered Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 They should of gone for two how is this a real debate.
SDS Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 And for what it’s worth, although logically you go for two points first when down by 9, statistically it is shown not to matter. 1 minute ago, Warcodered said: They should of gone for two how is this a real debate. Logically it is not a debate. You are right. But when 538 ran the Numbers, it didn’t make a difference. Basically if you miss the two point conversion it doesn’t really matter when you miss it. You lose.

Rick 'r Mortis Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 I wonder Rich Gannon's thoughts on not going for 2 there.

y2zipper Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 It largely doesn't matter whether they go for 2 now or later.
ColoradoBills Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 9ers play like this next week they can beat the Pats*.

He seemed legitimately irritated at Romeo for going for 2. He's definitely losing sleep tonight over the fact that a coach didn't do what he deemed wrong.
