B-Man Posted April 15 Posted April 15 New York Times Admits Voters Looking Back ‘More Positively’ on Trump’s Presidency as Biden Fails at Everything by Ben Kew The far-left New York Times has admitted that growing numbers of voters are looking back “more positively” on Donald Trump’s presidency as the Biden administration continues to fail at everything it does. In an article published Sunday, the Times conceded that voters have a “rosier picture” of Trump’s tenure when compared with Biden, particularly on issues such as immigration, the economy and law and order. The paper reported: Views of Donald J. Trump’s presidency have become more positive since he left office, bolstering his case for election and posing a risk to President Biden’s strategy of casting his opponent as unfit for the presidency https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/04/new-york-times-admits-voters-looking-back-more/ https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/14/us/politics/poll-trump-views.html 1 1
B-Man Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Well, it's obvious why but I doubt if David Frum comes out and says it. I was halfway through the headline when I wrote the post title. I'm reading "Why Biden Should Not Debate Trump/The networks want their show, but to give the challenger equal status on a TV stage would be a dire normalization of his attempted coup" by David Frum (in The Atlantic). The second half of the headline confirms my suspicion. We're not supposed to read Biden's refusal to debate to mean that he lacks the mental capacity to debate. Frum and others will instruct us, repeatedly, in articles repeating the talking point. B-Man Posted April 19 Posted April 19 It’s 1892 All Over Again: How this year’s election mirrors an earlier presidential rematch. What if you kept holding the same election until everybody was sick of it? The story of 2024 is also the story of 1892. Eight American presidents before Donald Trump have lost reelection since the beginning of modern popular-vote elections, in the 1830s. In four out of the eight, the losing party came back and won four years later, but Democrat Grover Cleveland was the only president who returned to office after leaving it. Three others ran again as third-party candidates (Theodore Roosevelt, Millard Fillmore, and Martin Van Buren). Of those, only Van Buren had been voted out of office. So Cleveland’s 1892 defeat of his Republican opponent, Benjamin Harrison — the man who beat him in 1888 — is our only real historical parallel for 2024. https://archive.is/W08Td#selection-797.1-805.95 1

B-Man Posted April 24 Posted April 24 DeSantis Slaps Biden: 'Florida Is Not Buying' Your Radical Abortion Agenda “All I can say is this is a guy who has intentionally opened the borders of this country and caused great harm,” the governor stated earlier on Tuesday. “His policies have caused families to suffer with higher prices and higher interest rates.” “And now he’s coming down to try to support a constitutional amendment that will mandate abortion up until the moment of birth, that will eliminate parental consent for minors, and that is written in a way that’s intentionally designed to deceive voters,” he continued. “Floridians are not buying what Joe Biden is selling,” DeSantis added. “And in November, we’re going to play an instrumental role in sending him back to Delaware where he belongs.” https://hotair.com/headlines/2024/04/24/desantis-slaps-biden-florida-is-not-buying-your-radical-abortion-agenda-n3787117 That's how it's done. Attack Biden and his allies for their demand for unrestricted abortion on demand, as well as the border crisis. Republicans have to go on attack and expose Democrats as the real abortion extremists.

Bonnie, do you ever think before you post crap that only exists to make people like you feel better about the quandary your party finds itself in? DeSantis is no longer a presidential candidate for a reason. If Floridians aren't "buying" it, what do you think will happen in November? Florida Supreme Court allows 6-week abortion ban to take effect, but voters will have the final say
