Thoughts on trading for this guy before trade deadline? He’s in the final year of his contract which i think he is owed 11.5m.  Not sure if we have cap room,  but if we did,  what about trading Wash a 4th or 5th rounder for him?  He’s a solid edge rusher and we wouldn’t have to eat a huge contract.

Isn't he just a slightly better version of Trent Murphy, if that?

He was avg 13 sacks per year 2016-2018.  Was injured last year.  Murphy couldn’t hold his jockstrap.

No more "solid" guys. We have a ton of those. We need impact players in the front 7. We have none.

Up until last season Kerrigan was more than a “solid” guy.  Haven’t  seen him play this year but he’d be MUCH better than Murphy.

Is he for sale?

Could be.  He’s in final year of a big 5 year contract.  He’s getting up there in age and Washington is in rebuild mode; may want to trade him for some draft capital.

Washington has Chase Young & Montez Sweat, they'd probably love to clear the way to give those 2 guys 100% of the DE snaps. I'd love a trade for Kerrigan for a 5th.

I told everyone Murphy is only good playing against the Jets,  a 10.5 million waste and does nothing but get run over or no pass rush

Can we hope in the way back machine and make this trade 8 years ago? We already have a bunch of over the hill underperformers.

What thee actual ***** are you talking about?!?!?!?

Kerrigan is a 1st ballot HoF player...

according to pro football reference he is 46th all time in sacks 1 under Justin Houston and 1 sack more than Clay Matthews he was drafted the same year as Houston... he is close to JJ Watt as well who is obviously a 1st ballot HoF player.
