Not sure about anyone else, but I'm getting pretty tired of Sal Capaccio on WGR.  While he's very passionate about the Bills and Western New York, he comes across as extremely arrogant and thinks he's a self-appointed spokesman for the Bills.  He routinely dismisses callers who make valid points - this morning, someone called in wanting to talk about the few playoff teams the Bills have defeated during McDermott's tenure and Sal immediately cut him off and said the point wasn't relevant.  When callers call in and it's unclear what they are trying to say, he starts screaming.  Admittedly, this can be frustrating but it comes across as arrogance.  It's also kind of tiring listening to him try to justify / explain every move the Bills make as if he's McBean's press secretary with the attitude of "you must listen to me because I'm a sideline reporter and used to coach football."

Given his role is so visible on WGR, I certainly hope this is a position that eventually gets upgraded.

So how big were your trophy's that the whole team got?  Little known fact for you BTW.............. SHUT THE RADIO OFF!!!!!IT WILL HELP YOU WITH YOUR FEELINGS!!!

A couple things I will say. He's not as bad as Chris Brown and his homer radio. Sal will rarely say anything bad about the Bills.

My next point with WGR will always be that it's too much Bills talk. The Sabres just signed one of the top free agents in the NHL but all they can focus on is the Bills.

Although that loss really stung last night I had completely forgotten how hilarious and entertaining the call in shows and message boards can be the next day after a bad loss.  This thread is turning into an all-time classic!

They have a ***** two hour Sabres show on, 5 days a week, year round!  Howard and Jeremy, Schoop and Bulldog, both talked plenty of Taylor Hall in recent days.  People just love to B word.

I can see Sal as the kind of guy who walks into a bar like he's hot stuff because he's a sideline reporter.  That's the kind of vibe he gives off.  Having lived around the U.S. and listened to countless sports talk radio and beat reporters, we can do far better.

Sal is here, and he just called you out on Twitter.

this from a socal resident who rarely listens to WGR ....regarding that clip posted where Sal ran the guy wanting to pick up a DE like Bruce or JJ Watt........ hot dang he talks fast...rapid fire is an understatement...does he always talk like that on the radio? Just a general comment but seriously maybe he should lay off the double caffeine red bulls or something......on another side note I know folks who used to chat with him in an online bills message board forum under the moniker "Coach Sal" before he became a sports host professionally.... Just think folks, he used to be one of "Us" lol

Who cares. Tell me when they actually win something.
