We don't want "good ones", this thread is about elite pass rushers

You prepared to give up at least 2 1st rounders and $20M+ annually to get one? That's the going rate.

Yes absolutely. If we can’t draft an elite one, then we have to buy one. What good is having elite players like White, if he has to cover for eons?

We have used a ton of draft capital on the defensive front seven the last three drafts.  It’s inexcusable not to have come away with at least one pass rusher...

We’re still undefeated with White and “no pass rushers”

Which is a testament to how amazing White is. This defense would be lights out if we had even a fairly modest pass rush.

We suck at drafting people who can get 10 sacks a year. Drafting elite CBs are the only thing we do well on defense.

With the COVID landscape, I'd be extremely hesitant to throw valuable draft capital at any player.

Beane and Mcdermott decided to invest in a heavy rotation, group pass rush approach. It hasn't worked out yet, but it is not time to blow that model up.

They let two pass rushers walk out the door and if anyone says jerry Hughes is a pass rusher, he has been using the same moves the past three seasons it's time for him to go.

To win a Super Bowl, you have to have 1 or 2 players on defense that can absolutely take over a game. We only have White. It sucks watching other teams getting 10+ sacks a year from players, but we can’t.

Trading multiple first rd picks and paying a guy 20+ mill a year doesn’t seem to be Beanes way of doing things.

Players that will get a massive raise, from us or elsewhere:  Josh allen, milano, Darryl Williams, Edmunds.

Players with expiring contracts the next couple years that will need to be replaced or given a raise/extended-  Every DB not named white and Poyer;  We don’t have any worthwhile LBers not named Edmunds or Milano, every DL not named oliver and Epenesa has an expiring this year or next, RG (whoever that may be), Smoke Brown.

the defense will likely have a LOT of turnover in the next two years similar to what we saw on offense the last 2.  Considering our QB will be making 35+ mill a year instead of 5-6, we have to make the most of our draft picks imo.....and not trade multiple 1st rd picks for another player that will make 20 mill a year instead of being under control for 5 years making 2-4 mill a year

I noticed Hughes last night for the first time all season. Offside once, and the other he slanted inside and got tossed on his ass and left no one on edge for containment(if that was by design Frazier needs a kick in the dick). I dont watch the all 22 and see what hes been doing on all the plays, but i cant remember him doing much this year. Age may have finally caught up to him.
