Bell’s agent is likely telling him to choose the place that will set him up best for his NEXT contract. Where will he have the most chance for personal numbers/success/stats? Unless he’s ready to retire, I wouldn’t expect  him to choose the team with the best chance to get a ring if his role isn’t defined, touches won’t be high and the OL isn’t good (that’s the chiefs right now)

Why waste resources on a lousy defense?

Beef up the offense and just keep pushing the scoring envelope.

i see the rationale in both but we have a pretty potent offense right now and would love to see the d be able to stop someone

KC didn’t work out well for Shady in terms of next steps.  Seems like an odd fit other than a good chance at a ring.  Bell would be a part time passing game specialist.

Here's the thing. With the rules being applied as they are now, NO ONE is stopping anyone. They've all but stopped calling holding.

Offenses have a huge advantage this year.

Not a ringing endorsement personality wise, "ive never met him" usually means ive heard bad/weird things but haven't personally experienced it

Thats a red flag to me. Eric wood should have an idea who bell is and if he would fit in on the bills as wood played for this regime

But he also says lets do it so who knows

Or ... he's simply never met him.

This is a no brainer to sign him for this year.  He will come on the cheap because the Jets are already paying his salary.  Im guessing he will want to showcase himself to get a new deal next year.  If he wants a multi year dear then I would pass

You don't throw in a "I've never met him" if you don't have more info from secondary sources.

I believe he never met him, but you can't tell me that the topic of leveon bell was never brought up in the locker room. Be it before a steelers or jets game, his rap songs, his weird free agency a few years ago.

This is where I am at with it. I think Buffalo is a great fit. The rushing attack has been anemic. Yeldon, a similar but lesser skill set was able to find some holes. The offense as a unit is pretty quality and has been able to score points. He should get a lions share of the carries and have a bunch of production if he lines out wide. If he can turn our rushing attack around, his next contract should be another big one.

Go all in on Bell and If John Brown is still out, I hear Bryant Johnson is available!!

If we line up Bell at the LOS, Diggs, Davis, Beasley, and Bell together should be enough to account for the loss of Brown.

They going all in

And why wouldn’t they? If you can improve an area of weakness, which the running game has been to date, at a minimal cost then would that not just be considered logical? Up until Tuesday, this was considered a top 5 team in the NFL and the offensive side of the ball was reason 1, 1a and 1b. The Chiefs proved that an elite offence and a passable defence can win it all. Now, as for making the defence passable.....

Surprised to see us in the mix, but Miami and KC always made the most sense to me.

I thought Miami was the best place for him out of the choices.  They dont have a lead back really, and are a scrappy up and coming team with the QB of the future waiting in the wings already.  Lot of talented offensive weapons.  They also possess both the first and 2nd round picks of the 1 win Texans too to help build that OL.

They are not winning this year though...

You think he’s going to sign a long term deal somewhere? I think he signs somewhere for the rest of the season and figured out his future after the season.  If I’m him, I go somewhere where I can have some fun and stop being miserable.  That could definitely be Miami too, but a deep playoff run seems much more enjoyable.

We’ll see what’s more important to him.  Winning or getting the most touches. I just don’t see him signing a multi year deal anywhere right now
