I'm wondering if "later in the weekend" means another Monday night double header. I'm also wondering if the Tuesday night game will be broadcast nationally. I have gamepass, but it's always better to watch live so you don't know the final score. Then again, I might have a heart attack watching us blow another big lead before a last minute comeback.

How do we know that the Titans need a spanking if we don't know how the virus was contracted or do we?

I don't know this for certain, but my guess would be that any NFL game that is re-scheduled to a weird time like a Tuesday night would be a national broadcast.

Doesn't make sense not to do it that way.  Viewers across our great land will eat up NFL football any night you feed it to them.

This is BS.  Steelers get a straight up cancel and can make it up later.  Bills get.dicked around for a week then games.moved all over and who the hell knows.

Game should just be cancelled outright or Titans forfeit

Silver lining, rose colored glasses time:

I know this is a stretch..  But ...

With all the teams around the Bills schedule popping positive or breaking rules, the opponent's normal game prep is being disrupted.  Advantage Buffalo as long as it doesn't happen here.

Raiders .. Lots of attention to a charity event.  Distracting..

Titans .. Two extra Buffalo rest days allows some banged up players to get better

Chiefs .. One extra Buffalo rest day.. Avoid the dreaded TNF

Patriots .. Facility shut down, big time players forced out, travel messed with, games moved

Jets .. facility shut down

The Steelers game was not cancelled, it was moved.

Cancelling the Bills game would not be fair to the Bills, as they wouldn’t get paid for the game. Ditto forfeiture.

Moving the game to weeks from now would also not be fair, as the Titans would definitely get all their sick players back by then, basically suffering no disadvantage for their negligence.

We’re in a pandemic. We’re talking about what days FOOTBALL GAMES are being played. 1st world problems. It is what it is.

Go Bills!

So over 20 positives on the Titans.  In theory they should have not been practicing for some time. And moving the game from Sunday to Tuesday is the answer ... really?

I think the biggest complaint, at least from me, is that the Bills are living in a ton of uncertainty that isn't unnecessary. If the league said,

"We made a decision today, we are going to try and get this game in this weekend, but we need to prove incredibly healthy. We are 100% moving the KC game to Sunday/Monday/whatever. No matter what happens from here on out, KC v. Buffalo is on the calendar on this day at this time. Players who we can 100% confirm were at the out of facility practice, breaking COVID protocol will not be playing due to inherent risks to both the Buffalo Bills and the NFL. Players who have tested positive at any point for Tennessee in the last 10 days will be held out of this weeks game due to organizational failure to adhere to and respect our covid protocols. The league will be personally managing the test results from the Titans moving forward. If there is a single positive test between today and Monday, this game will be cancelled. We will announce when or if we will play a make up game later in the year"

We would all be fine. But as of right now the Bills might play KC on Thursday or Sunday, and we won't know until this Sunday and we won't know if we play Tennessee until basically Tuesday. It does not have to be that way though.

I for one would like a bit more clarity on at what point the league would try to move the KC at Bills game back to Thursday.

For competitive fairness, they have got to give us at least 4 days to prepare for that game, same as we would have had originally.

I would become most unhappy and feel it is most unfair should the NFL cancel the Titans game Monday or Tuesday and still move the KC game back to Thurs.

Based on what I heard on radio - can’t remember who said it - that would not happen. Either the game is confirmed for Tuesday tomorrow with no new positives, which in turn confirms the Chiefs for next weekend, or the positives show up, Tuesday is off, and chiefs revert to Thursday. We will know either way tomorrow. If titans game is cancelled after tomorrow, chiefs stay on Sunday

That's OK then.

My only thing is since we have a very late game on Tues, I think we should get a late game on Sunday.  But that's probably a nit.

Do you know anything about how we're handling practice?  I heard no practice today - rest day?   What about the remaining schedule?

It would be a bad idea to look past the Titans and start watching film on the Chiefs.

I was told the game will be nationally broadcast at 7pm on CBS - has anyone else heard this or can anyone confirm that?

Additionally, if they move the KC game to Sunday I was told it will be a late game.  Does that mean TV?

Yes to Tuesday being nationally broadcast at 7 pm on CBS

Chiefs game is still offically "to be played later in the weekend", so no answers there.

Not sure but i assume they will look at Tuesday as Sunday and back up the normal schedule. So Monday is travel day/walk through, Sunday red zone install/full practice, Saturday full practice.

If the Chiefs game is played Sunday then it becomes CBS #1 game and its not even close. I would guess 4:25 start which will be broadcast to the entire country with Romo and Nance calling it. Just my guess.

I think the issue could be that it was originally a Fox game. They would then be handing to CBS

Good point. Does it still remain a FOX game? If so then I would guess the same national broadcast with a 4:25 start and Aikman and Buck calling it then.

Would be nice if the Bills had more time to prep for Chiefs, but I am sure with the extra time they have the coaches are already working on scouting and strategy for KC.

McDermott is familiar with Reid and did notch a Bills win against him in 2017...granted the Chiefs are better now, but the Bills are too...our D ranking was bottom tier that year.

Daboll was given the boot in KC and replaced by Reid so there may be some extra motivation there too.

Got to get the W against the Titans first sans injuries or Covid.

I think the issue there is Brady-Rogers is scheduled for that slot
