Sound_n_Fury Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 How about Carolina as a dark horse player in the TH sweepstakes? Panthers' roster: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/teams/stats?team=car 312875[/snapback] Initially I thought this was a ridiculuos idea due to the presence of stephen davis and deshaun foster, however not any longer when you think that as talented as Deshaun Foster is he has been on injured reserve almost all of his career and Stephen Davis is getting long in the tooth. Who knows maybe they will offer us fair value.
JimBob2232 Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Not sure why they dont think Goings is the answer...but whatever...the more teams looking for a RB tomorrow, the better
scribo Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 It probably won't happen, but that is what makes this idea "a darkhorse." Nice thinking.
RJsackedagain Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I think they have like 14 RBs already, including Davis, Foster, Goings, He Hate Me, etc. Apparently they are looking to field a starting line up of 11 RBs to go against the Denver Broncos' new 11-man front on defense ..... should be quite a battle
sweet baboo Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 i seem to remember Goings being an amazing fantasy pickup in the last few weeks of the fantasy season
Pete Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I am in a 12 team keeper league where we keep 5 players which we declare May 1st. I am undecided whether to keep Deshawn Foster or not. If he starts and is healthy he will have a monster year. That is two big ifs... Any opinions out there?

Also if Carolina had so much confidence in him why did they ever sign Stephen Davis. Having said that it is difficult to answer given that I do not know who else you could keep.
