Brennan Huff Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 I think he’s more Brett Favre than Tom Brady. But it’s definitely a flattering comparison 10
BuffBillsForLife Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 I feel like a more accurate player comparison for Favre to make would have been, y'know, himself. 4
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 I actually often compare JA to Favre. Both prone to unreal highs, and occasional bone-headed risky plays. But I actually think, unlike Favre, JA will outgrow those bone-headed plays. 5

Buftex Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) For the first time ever, while watching this past Sunday, Josh's quick release on some shorter, intermediate passes, he actually reminded me a little of Dan Marino. That ball gets from his hands to Cole Beasley's very fast. He has been really throwing into some tight spaces. He looks a million times more comfortable in the pocket most of the time. I can live with a Dan Marino, with Favre-like elusiveness. Edited October 6, 2020 by Buftex 4 1

ChevyVanMiller Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) He's definitely more Farve than Brady. I'll take the notion of Josh running the division, though. Edited October 6, 2020 by ChevyVanMiller 2 1

I heard him compared to John Elway this morning on whatever the new ESPN morning radio show is called this year. 2 1

LABILLBACKER Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 So we have Brady, maybe Favre, heard Cam, some Elway or Marino. Can I get a Rodgers? 2 2
ALLEN1QB Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) And he is all ours!!! I have been waiting for this day woooohoooo. I wish Poncho was here to enjoy it Edited October 6, 2020 by ALLEN-2-DIGGS-TD!! 4 1 1 4
LabattBlue Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 I always think Allen is a more mobile Big Ben. 2
TBBills Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) The last person I want to care about is Favre and what he thinks... He probably threw an interception just making that article. Edited October 6, 2020 by TBBills 3

Almost like he was made in a lab. Scary actually to think about
mykidsdad Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) Favre to JA is the BEST comparison. I loved Favre, maybe watched every single game that I possibly could. He has the mind arm and body of Favre BUT is bigger and faster. Just now, TBBills said: The last person I want him compared to is Favre.... I think this is a crazy take. Favre has a SB and 3 league MVPs. Edited October 6, 2020 by mykidsdad 1
Chandler#81 Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Len Dawsons’ smarts, Joe Namath’s arm, Roman Gabriels’ build, John Elways’ running, Joe Montanas’ ‘Want To!’ 1
