AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 They just don’t make music like that anymore 😕 1
Seasons1992 Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 I listened to my remastered copy last night while watching the Chiefs game. Probably the 2,000th time I've heard it straight through. NEVER gets old, ever. 1
WhoTom Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Three years ago, we drove to southern Illinois to see the total solar eclipse. DSoTM was one of several discs I grabbed for the ride. After listening to it, my son said, "Can we hear that again?" That's parenting done right, my friends. (That's not the first time he'd heard it, by the way.) 1
Greg S Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) Great album but for me "Wish You Were Here" is favorite Pink Floyd album. SOYCD is my favorite Floyd song. Edited October 6, 2020 by Greg S 1 1
Nextmanup Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 This is a masterpiece that made all those guys rich, and rightly so. I still say "Money" doesn't fit the thematic ambitions of the album, however.
Tony P Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I was at the show they performed at the AUD during that tour. A rather awesome event - complete with quadrophonic sound!!! 1
