McDaniels is a shoe in. He wants full control which is why he didn’t get the Cleveland job

Already lots of former Pats on staff to build a staff with.

The Bills should call Easterby and see if he can fleece him for a Starting LB for a late round pick. I mean, he was a team chaplain two years ago. Sorry -“Character Coach”

Is this the guy who used to coach Buffalo’s DL

Yeah that would be very typical of the McNair legacy, take the easy, sloppy way out.

The Texans defense has been dreadful..missed tackles, assignment, lackadaisical.

Yep it would fit to be the next Texans HC.

Full control as in HC & GM?  If so, the Texans would be crazy to do that, after the BoB experiment in that regard failed miserably.  McDaniel hasn't even shown he can be an NFL HC, let alone HC/GM.

You mean trading DeAndre Hopkins for David Johnson wasn't a good trade?

Holy cow - that trade was so bad most fantasy league commissioners wouldn't have allowed it.....

I'm the commissioner of a dynasty league and I got a text from my brother about this trade and I thought he meant it happened in our league and I immediately was going to look into it, when I found out it happened in the actual NFL I started dying laughing. BoB is an idiot.

I’m sure they’ll find someone, I’d say even with the draft picks that  The Jets are a worse team and are least likely to attract any top tier HC or GM to sign with them

And they have a franchise quarterback .. that makes the recovery faster.

It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you the next coach of the New York Jets....   😁

They could just swap coaches....two dumpster fires of organizations

What coach, or GM, is going to want that job after he gutted the team and traded away their future?

It's probably the best job coming available they have they're QB.

While I'm not surprised he got fired, I'm surprised that he was the first one of the season to get fired when there are several good candidates. Gase, Patricia, Marrone all come to mind.

Watt looked shell shocked in post game interview yesterday - wonder if player input had anything to do with finally pulling the trigger

BOB didn't look great in his either.
