Mike Nolan should be fired already. He is the reason Dallas are 1-3. When people talk about minority coaches not getting fair a shake it is because they look at incompetent yesterday men like Mike Nolan getting coordinator jobs because he once gave McCarthy one. Kris Richard was there on the staff and should have got that job.

I've never seen a team gaining over 500+ yards of total offense on a weekly basis ending up losing 3 out of 4, barely lucking into the one victory they have. It's unheard of. He should absolutely have been fired. Rex and Rob couldn't even eff that defense up this bad.

The Jets owners do not like paying coaches to be gone - so although it might cause a total fan riot - if Gase and Joe Douglas have talked about the future - maybe the Johnsons keep them together.  Gase stated he was not happy with the Bell signing and Darnold was not his choice - although he was brought in to groom him.

The Jets ownership must be very thankful that their incompetence has been mostly overshadowed for many years by the even worse ownership by the Dolans (Knicks) and Wilpons (Mets).

Imagine how good it would be if the Jets fired Gase at the end of the season and then replaced him with O Brien. I'd actually pay a subscription to get access to the Jets forums if that happened

It is truly atrocious. It is as if he hasn't watched that outdated Ravens defense get Pagano, and Smith, and Lewis and Rex fired in recent years.

They do that and they might actually kill that fanbase. I mean it's rough when nothing seems to work but I can't imagine how bad it is when it seems practically purposefully bad.

They should beat up on a bad Giants team this week, a Giants team that hasn't scored an offensive TD in like 200 offensive plays. Then they have the Cardinals and I'm sure Kingsbury is already licking his chops for that matchup against his Air-Raid type offense. The Cowboys should win at least 2 out of the next 3 as they have the Washington Football Team after AZ. If the defense continues to struggle then Nolan won't make it till November.

I hope, as a previous poster mentioned, that Daboll stays with the Bills, as he lives close and the team is on the rise.  I can't blame him if he leaves, but I hope to get him 1 more year, so Dorsey can learn a bit more from him.  I feel Dorsey will be elevated to OC if Daboll leaves.

I think it would be very harsh to fire Fangio. He is without a LOT of players and onto his 3rd string QB by week 4

I think Patricia is a dead man walking. He is a defensive coach losing because of his defense for 3 years running. He is toast.

Dan Orlovsky would fire him today:https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/ex-detroit-lions-qb-dan-orlovsky-obliterates-matt-patricia-it-s-a-bunch-of-trash/ar-BB19IFXa?ocid=msedgdhp

He is unequivocally rejecting Patricia's premise that "there was a lot of work to do."

"First of all, we were 11-5 in 2014, and a real good football team," Orlovsky said on ESPN Radio's morning show, "Keyshawn, JWill & Zubin," on Monday. "(In) 2015, we go 7-9, it's because we turn the football over, but the last eight games, we were 7-1, so flipped our season around. The next two years, we were 9-7, and I believe we were playing Green Bay in both years with a chance to win the division.
"To come in and say you had a lot work to do is completely false. It's a bunch of trash. Because that wasn't the case in Detroit. We were a good football team. Matthew Stafford was playing as good as he has in his career. That was because of Coach Caldwell. And we were an organization that was ascending, we were building."

And Orlovsky wasn't done.

"The culture was amazing. The culture was fantastic. So, you had a winning record in three of your four years. The culture was great and your quarterback was playing really good football.

"So for (Patricia) to say there was a lot of work to be done is a bunch of trash."

There are always a lot of HC changes in the NFL year to year.

I know Daboll seems to be in the good graces of this board right now, but he is not irreplaceable, if he does leave.

We should be able to find lots of replacements who can continue forward.

No way Daboll is here next year.. I am hoping that there is a good replacement who can keep the system the same for Josh..
