At what point does a forfeit become palatable to the Titans, who have to be getting close to being unable to field a team. Certainly can’t field the team they want anyway.

I mean, if they keep pushing this ***** out they're going to start getting back the first wave of positives.

Yep. And really, I think their individual greatest attributes make them a great combo:

Diggs can go from covered to open faster than just about anyone in the league cause of his route running and agility, and Allen can put the ball on the WR faster than just about anyone. As they develop chemistry I think we're going to see a lot of broken plays where the timing and routes are off but they connect because of that.

Yes, exactly, well said.  What I love is that Beane KNEW this in his soul, and he MADE it happen.  Or, at least, he listened to Daboll and McDermott and believed them totally.  Either way: that's why he's the BOSS.

And yeah, no preseason, and already league leaders.  Talk about the Sky is the Limit!

If the nfl schedules the game Monday or Tuesday, what happens if the bills refuse to play? They say they won't report for the game and don't travel?

I think all signs point to the Bills will do what the NFL tells them to do.

I don't think so.  I think Sullivan is misinterpreting.

Nothing about a third player on Rapoport's twitter feed.

What he said on GMFB is that "that makes 3 players in the last 2 days" ie the one yesterday, and two today (one repeat, one new).

Just waiting for the wrist slap penalty from New York and a dog of a game from the Titans covid-ridden scrubs at this point.

In a sensible world, the news of the forfeits and suspensions will come out in an hour.

If I know one thing.

This will create some hostility between the Bills players and titans players in the future.

When a persons money is taken away due to others negligence, S*** will hit the fan the next time they play to one degree or another.

it's gonna cause hostility between the titans players who definitely will not be getting paid. Good luck to vrabel trying to keep these guys together.

At this point is it even worth going up against Titan PS players who might also be infected. Clearly this organization can't follow the rules. And its doubtful the shield punishes these clowns with a forfeit. Wear a frickin mask and stay away from people. This isn't rocket science.

This.  We don't roll like dat.

It's much trickier than this.

Tennessee is one of the states that doesn't have an income tax.  Players would likely be subject to NYS income tax, which on their salaries, can account for a significant chunk of their paycheck.  How this would be sorted out, who knows.

I know a lot about TN income tax!

But the point is, that the Bills under McBeane would do right by their players.  That's their MO.  You disagree?

Execs from multiple teams said it’s been an open secret that the Titans have not strictly enforced guidelines regarding masks within their facility. The execs said they knew this through conversations with Titans staffers predating the outbreak. If this is true, the NFL will find proof on surveillance videos from inside team headquarters. Saffold’s revelation raises another red flag, even if the practice session was held before an NFL memo was distributed explicitly banning such gatherings.

They are bound by the terms and conditions of the agreement between the NFL and NFLPA.  The team legally cannot do anything without an agreement between those two parties... and you can bet that other forces at play (i.e. the NFL, other teams that might find themselves in this situation, the NFLPA wanting local tax treatment, etc) would push back.

Its a union issue not a Pegula and Beane issue. In a unionized employment situation employers can not unilaterally change the rules even if it is for the benefit of the employee.

This needs to be negotiated between NFLPA and NFL.

Okay, I get your point.  Fair enough.  I haven't read the legalese.
