There aren't that many who didn't show a learning curve. The ones that did -- Mahomes (had the benefit of sitting for 15 games), Russell Wilson, Big Ben, Marino -- almost always end up being top tier starters. EDIT: I'm real close to adding Justin Herbert to that list. Edited October 4, 2020 by The Frankish Reich 1
Warcodered Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 It's about time for garbageman Dak to get his stats for the game.

I thought they were about a .500 team coming into the season, and I've seen no reason to change my mind about that. They're not a joke like last year, and they're going to upset a couple of teams. I mean, they hung with us.
gordong Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Herbert just threw a beautiful pass... chargers out in front again. 1
Big C Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Flexed Brandin Cooks and benched Joe Mixon... but don't worry I also have Tyler Lockett... Oh dear 1
Niagara Dude Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Looks like Taylor about to go back to carrying a clip board, this Herbert looks like the real deal and best player in the draft
Mojo44 Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 If there was a pre-season Tyrol never would’ve beat Herbert out

Mrbojanglezs Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Herbert looks good, similar to Allen maybe not as athletic

Talley56 Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Week 4 of the 2019 season - Browns whoop the Ravens, pretty much nosedive the rest of the season Week 1 of the 2020 season - Browns get whooped by the Ravens, pretty much looking like a playoff team ever since.
whatdrought Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Having Tua be a bust with Herbert being a stud would be as awesome as the Jets taking Darnold over Allen. I love our division foes failing. 1

Ya Digg? Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 So for as good as Kyler Murray supposedly is, he has had a handful of games where he barely throws for 100 yards, including today...not saying he doesn't have talent but there is a lot of love given to that guy nationally considering he has had some really terrible games last year and the start of this year.
