Please keep discussion in this thread narrowly focused on football and directly football-related issues.

Two Bills Drive no longer finds it appropriate to engage in COVID-19 discussion in our main discussion areas. We are a Buffalo Bills fan community and we exist to serve fans of the Buffalo Bills and the NFL. Please use other communities and venues to discuss heath-related topics including COVID-19.

Information about COVID-19 is available from many globally respected sources including:

Uptodate     |  British Medical Journal Best Practice   |      COVIPENDIUM    |    Our world in Data

The pinned topic: COVID-19 - Facts and Information Only Topic, located on the Off the Wall subforum, is also a resource.   Should these not meet your needs, many other sources of information (of varied accuracy) exist.

Thank you!

About the worst thing that could happen to the NFL season is have the Titans infect a second team.

At this point, with the incubation period as it is, there's really no way the Bills could play on Sunday.  It's too risky.

The league has to start talking about can eling games.  Do the Titans forfeit ? Or do they and their opponents play less games??

The first Titans player to test positive was on early morning Tuesday (September 29), at which point they totally closed the facility and quarantined everyone.  The spread should have completely stopped at that point, assuming all protocols were done correctly.

The fact that no Vikings players tested positive, suggests that all of the spreading almost certainly happened either late Sunday after the Tennessee-Minnesota game was over (September 27) or at some point on Monday at the facility (September 28).  So even though positive tests were still popping up Sunday (October 4), the infections would have actually happened 6-7 days earlier.

Putting this all together, the game against the Bills is October 11, which is 13-14 days after the spreading happened.  The normal incubation period for Covid 19 has already bypassed.  So again... as long as protocols have been followed, every player on the Titans roster who hasn't already tested positive should be in the clear.  They will be down a number of players and coaches for Sunday, but they will have enough to field a full active roster and should have enough days to practice.

I fully expect the game to happen.
