In another thread, despite McDermott's history with having a top defense...you sounded the alarm.

Explain why you offer a conflicting point of view.

Not sure which thread you're talking about.  The Bills D did look pretty hopeless in the second half yesterday, but I'm confident that they are going to come around and will be a top 10 (at least) unit this year.  Not many defenses are playing really well right now.

Ahh, so you just don't think they will come around within 6 weeks.

The question is who are they running against?.Vegas.., Miami A better question is what adjustments does Sean and Leslie make. It's obvious Oliver , Jefferson and Phillips are getting pushed around and the safeties are making tackles because running backs are getting to the 2nd level.. Star had a role on this team and his replacements haven't filled the void. Maybe Oliver and Phillips/Jefferson  can start focusing on run stuffing along with Edmunds.  All that said, teams better be able to score in the 30s to outscore our offense.

As long as our offense stays red hot and I see no reason to believe it won’t I’m ok with

winning games 35-30

in stead of 17 - 14
GO Bills !!!
