Amazing game today by Allen, but one thing I think it's important to point out (and I'm actually surprised the coaching staff hasn't drilled down on) is the "tell" that Allen has on his hard counts. Peyton Manning pointed this out on the ESPN+ special, and it rang 100% true today.

When Allen actually takes a snap, his arms are hanging by his side. When he does a hard count, though, trying to get the defense to jump, he always holds his hands out as if to receive the ball. At this point, defenders would know from film study that if his hands are flexed to receive a snap, it's always a fake.

He just needs to change this up a few times to keep defenses guessing.

It’s also very early so the “tell” could be a “set up”

didn't this come out like yesterday?

It was Friday or Saturday. I'm surprised no one caught it for the game today, honestly, but it'll be really interesting to see if it continues next week. Would seem like an easy fix.

Well it would help if Morse snapped the ball when the defenders jump. Twice Allen got them in the neutral zone and no snap. They didn't jump enough to make contact but enough to get a free play.

The lineman should stick their hand out and touch them. Against the dolphins we were getting all their players up on the line to jump even the corners. All our players were looking at the ball oblivious of the defender that just jumped Offside. We do it time to time but not everytime like we should.

Regardless, someone message this to someone who can deliver the message, or whatever. Haha.

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised that the coaching staff didn't notice this before Peyton Manning had to point it out, but I'm at least trying to get the word out there! I'll probably call WGR tomorrow as well. Not sure what else I can do.

Yeah, Idk if it was you that posted about it during the game, but I started seeing it, right afterwards.

Get the info out to OBD, why not?

I know it hasn't worked yet and maybe because the suggestion that there's a tell is the reason why, however when they do these hard counts, I've had the thought each time that it's a great time to do it.  So I've been impressed with that much.  Now if he can work on it and make it more believable, it will be a weapon,  The kid is smart and is working on all angles of his game.

He also always has the ball hiked on the 3rd hard count. Been the same for two seasons now.

He faked it a third time today. Caught me off guard.
