Kelly the Dog Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 (edited) I did a little football-washing in the Josh Allen lab Experiment/Experience. Read. Enjoy. Comment. Share. Repeat as necessary. https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/voice-of-the-fan-the-josh-allen-experiment-experience-is-finally-here-so-enjoy-it/article_90b7f764-fcea-11ea-93ae-47bbed1dd21d.html "It sometimes seems as if somehow in that lab, Dr. Frankenreich reanimated Jim Kelly, and created a new super-QB by combining their best attributes – along with some otherworldly athleticism and abilities, and a rare combination of supreme confidence and sublime humility. But Allen is not only human, he is among the best humans, teammates and role models you could ever hope to meet as well. The great specimen is also a great guy. It is hard to find a better player or dude to root for. Allen is the embodiment of Buffalo – the animal and city. His coaches, teammates and ever-growing legion of fans revere and respect him. His detractors have all mostly been won over, silenced, or sent back to their cave. Even his opponents appear to love him. And for all the best and right reasons, too. Allen hates to be tackled. He runs through enemy defenders, and his teammates want to run through walls after witnessing it. He is stubbornly learning to slide when it is the right thing to do as he passed the first-down marker down in Miami, and later fought through three Dolphins when it was warranted on third-and-8. But there is more, much more. Allen is a big, goofy kid and still shows a surprising maturity for such a young man and player; a jokester who will go for your jugular. He is the most grounded of high-flying superheroes. He has shown exemplary work ethic and actual ethics. He is complete, compassionate and competitive. DrDawkinstein Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 (edited) Quote It matters not, right now, if it is sustainable. Allen will have bad passes, series and quarters. Turnovers and erratic decisions are sure to come. We will suffer some, if not several, losses. But we Bills fans have ourselves one of those rare things – a genuine, Grade A, NFL Franchise Quarterback, for the first time in a generation. And at any one time, there are only about a baker's dozen of them in the world. Great job, as usual. Love the Fitz shout-out at the end. Edited September 22, 2020 by DrDawkinstein 1
Freddie's Dead Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Even Hank Bullough appreciates Josh Allen's work ethnic. 2

I worried that I went a little overboard. 55 minutes ago, DrDawkinstein said: Great job, as usual. Love the Fitz shout-out at the end. It's unpossible not to appreciate The Fitzy. He threw a ton of great passes and his receivers made a ton of difficult catches. It was a poor defensive showing against the pass over the middle, for sure. But not as bad as it seemed. Gieseki made about five very difficult snares.

I loved it, in particular, telling the naysayers to stuff it, the overall excitement, the kudos to Daboll and the Fitz shout out at the end. Hear! Hear! Great job!!! 1
Rhode Island Red Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Really enjoyed the piece, very well executed in terms of our current elation. Dutifully forwarded it on to my long-suffering family members, and also to a few doubter-friends... (Giants/Jets/Pats fans, of course, around here...)
Saxum Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 One article to put into save folder. Nicely done. Now work on movie script. "Mr. Allen goes to Buffalo"
