Last Sabres game I was at was when they were in the middle of that 10 or 12 game winning streak back in 2018.  I think that's the last time I felt anything remotely good about the Sabres.

Staal is a decent upgrade for next to nothing, but the offense needs a lot more work. Adams also needs to find a reliable partner for Dahlin and upgrade Hutton.

 

Will Adams do all that?

The beginning of last season was fantastic, too. Then Carter Hutton's eyes went bad and no one knew, or few people did and he still played.
