Logic Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 So much for Sean McDermott being a "conservative coach who wants to win low scoring defensive struggles". 🙄  Â
Houston's #1 Bills Fan Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 That's just crazy!! But I love it!! Josh #1 QB in the league right now!

The Wiz Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 (edited) Listening to WGR this morning. 103 of 142 offensive snaps have been a pass or run by Allen. Putting the ball in his hands is the new plan and I'm loving it. Edited September 21, 2020 by The Wiz 1 1
Brennan Huff Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 As much as I love seeing this, we need to get the running game going. Yesterday was definitely a big improvement from week 1. I’ll take 5.6 yards a carry from Singletary but let’s get him about 20 carries a game 3

Run VOLUME matters less to me.  As long as they’re producing yards and points, I don’t care how they do it. 9
Matt_In_NH Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 It funny, I think the same thing was true last year but it was not sustained and not real. This is different. Not sure we want the most imbalanced offense but it is great to see they can do that if they need to

I just don’t want to be a one dimensional team. I don’t want to sound like a naysayer and take anything away from Josh’s performance so far, but it was the Jets and the Dolphins that we played. Again, I love Josh Allen and he should absolutely be in the discussion right now for best QB in the league, but I want to see what the offense can do against the heavyweights of the league 1

Yesterday and last week are the exact thing I have been screaming for from him. Stop playing down to opponents, learn how to control velocity on throws, and do the right thing conistantly, not pull the big play out of your arse here and there. It has been refreshing, hope he keeps this up! 2

Allen and Diggs are our best players and biggest weapons on offense. Keep the ball in their hands.
thebandit27 Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 Folks need to understand that McDermott has always coached to win. He obviously felt that, prior to now, his best chance at winning was to protect the football and play ball control. Now that he’s got more talent on offense, he can coach a different game.
