2 games in, but those that bet on him being MVP have to feel a little good.. and PFF will have to work overtime to spin this as another bad Josh outing.

Good times indeed.

Take a look at who is tied for #1 receiving yards. I will give u a hint. The Vikings screwed up...

I hear PFF and ESPN are currently having an emergency meeting on how to negatively spin Josh's success.

Well that TD bomb to Brown didn't quite catch him in stride, and it was "only against the Jets and Dolphins", thus below average grade and officially the wrong Josh.

Actually ESPN says this:

Josh Allen is an MVP candidate

You guys. Seriously. Is Josh Allen, like, really, really good? He came out of Sunday's lightning delay in Miami as if he'd been struck by lightning and gifted with enhanced superpowers. Allen finished the day 24-for-35 passing for 417 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions for the 2-0 Bills.

Allen is the fourth quarterback in NFL history to throw for more than 700 yards and at least six touchdowns without an interception in his first two games. The others are Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes, who have combined to win nine MVP awards.

The verdict: NOT AN OVERREACTION. There has never been any doubt about Allen's physical gifts. The questions about him have been about accuracy and consistency -- whether he can improve the former and maintain the latter. He still seems to do one or two things every game that make it look as if he's playing his first game ever, but so far this season he has been as impeccable as anyone in the league.

On paper, Buffalo has the best roster in the AFC East by far. Coming into the season, the only major question mark was Allen. If he has truly taken a major step forward and can maintain this level of performance throughout the season, he's in the discussion, because the Bills are going to win a lot of games.

Oh lord, they jinxed us.  He's gonna break his leg next week after throwing 3 INTs and losing a fumble.

As long as he does not break his leg while throwing an INT and losing a fumble.

He looks good so far, still throws some really bad balls, but improvement is there.  The competition hasn’t been all that strong, so let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves, but there’s no arguing he threw for 300 and 400 yards against 2 teams that he faced 2x each last year and couldn’t put up those numbers.    Also Diggs has brought up the level of the WRs as a whole.  I’m going to state it on record. I was wrong.  His presence is worth the cost.  The guys are fighting for the balls, and generally look more competitive and he’s the only change.

(insert lady doing advanced math in her head meme)

So...he throws an INT, recovers the ball fumbled from the defender, then has his leg broken in the tackle that causes his fumble?

Yes.  I think Josh is a lot like Jim Kelly who if someone catches an INT he turns into a defender and tries to get the ball.

Jim did that in one game and in this case it was the defender who got his leg broken.

Mike Catalana is a douche

Can confirm. When I worked at Wegmans a million years ago, he tried to write a check in my cash-only lane, and went all “do you know who I am?” on me.

But Josh Allen didn't even dominate in college!!  How can he be a good pro or an MVP candidate?

Sincerely,
