GunnerBill Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Interesting. Didn't notice will be good to track.
NewEra Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 But I thought Joe B said he was good? couldn't resist. hopefully he can turn things around 1
Virgil Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 I was wondering about this. I don't remember anything happening which would make me think he needed to be pulled. I'm very interested to hear more about this
Not at the table Karlos Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 I saw him on the left side a lot towards the end with Williams at RG and Bates?(71) at RT.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Not sure what all the fuss is about. Ford and Winters were rotating all game long. 1
Coach Tuesday Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Could’ve been winded or overheated. 2
Green Lightning Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 I thought they were just moving the big guys in and out because of the heat. 9

It has always been about the foot speed. Being able to nullify the speed rushers, and being able to effective pull from that guard positions are areas of weakness in his game and limits some of what Daboll can do with him in the run game. I like the kid, but it is going to take some time for him to develop to where we need him to be... I do think offensive linemen can get into better shape and get faster under an NFL training and nutrition regimen. I am willing to give him time, but they may want to try other options from time to time.
Matt_In_NH Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 play the best guys....you dont hit on all your draft picks and some guys take a while to develop

Cheektowaga Chad Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Sounds like the heat/humidity might have played a role 5
PetermansRedemption Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Having Diggs/Brown/Davis lessens the sting, but I really wanted Metcalf where they took Ford. He was my draft crush that year. 2
TroutDog Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 (edited) There was nothing wrong with the line today. Josh was sacked once and, generally, had plenty of time to throw. Non-story in my opinion. Plus over 100 yards rushing. Edited September 20, 2020 by TroutDog 4
YoloinOhio Posted September 20, 2020 Author Posted September 20, 2020 Hopefully it was just a rotation - was McDermott asked about it?

Yeah, that was my assumption. 90 degree temp with 90% humidity - that can be tough. When I was a soldier at Fort Stewart, GA, we hated field training during 90-90 days. 1

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Murphy mentioned this during the radio broadcast. With the heat and humidity they planned on rotating to keep guys fresh. 1
