You know it's true, we played him today.  We were all throwing confetti around and Sully and others were opining how the Bills needed to lock him up right away and not look back.

By the end of the season, the same guys were all 'foolish premature contract'

I love me some Josh.  He looks like he's taken some Big Big steps, and I love it.  But we need to see what he's got all season before we uncork the Champagne

Except when he wasn't, Oh Ye of Short Memory.

Which is when? He's always been a stop gap QB. I don't think any team that signed him expected him to be the franchise savior.

He had me at "I do play for NY" and "..one NY team".

Wanted nothing more than to see this kid grow and succeed in a Bills uniform - still want to see him be all the Josh he can be.

The "****" Yes option.

Josh has been my quarterback since the day he was drafted by the Buffalo Bills. But, he’s been a quarterback that I knew I could believe in long-term since the game in Minnesota two seasons ago. Anybody with a set on him like that has to be someone you can get behind in Buffalo

I was so impressed by the Minnesota game that that week I went out & bought an Allen jersey at the local mall.  I figured I didn't have to worry about him leaving the team for at least a decade.

I wanted Josh to start opening day in Baltimore as a rookie & I was sitting in the stands getting drenched in the rain & when I saw Allen enter the game I went crazy cheering.  He's always been my QB.

Josh Allen is a Grown Ass Man

But I'll tell you this, Stefon Diggs is one Grown Ass NFL WR

Did you see that one catch where he went out of bounds and slid under the Miami bench and they were all helping him up and clapping him on the helmet?

I mean, Josh is My Guy, but from a cold dispassionate 30,000 feet perspective, I need to see a whole season

We have seen a guy have a hot start with 5 great games, get a contract, and then suck, right?

Yeah. Sure. But we haven’t, in the past 20-25 years, seen a QB take this team to a playoff game and then have a hot start the next season.

heck - Trent was in mvp conversations

but josh has all the tools and as he strings games together I’ll be less likely to doubt. Still just 2 weeks and against bad teams but he is truly playing like “the guy” right now

Trent ever lead us to the postseason? Btw there was never Trent MVP heat. FJ in 2011, sure but not Trentative.

I love Josh.  I love today's win.  But I hate the mentality that 2 great wins shows "He's Arrived!".  You know the very same people who are in Alt right now are going to be all "he sucks, he can't be relied on, he's just good enough to beat the bad teams he's not good enough to win against a truly elite offense blah blah" when we lose a game against a really strong team.  And sooner or later this season we will lose a game against a strong team.  You know I'm right.

i just hate your replies and negativity after back to back career games he had.  no one has talked about extending him now! why cant you just enjoy whats put in front of you instead of putting cart before the horse! we are celebrating a QB that has not had this amazing of a game since Jimbo.. and just hours after you type that.. get off your cool aid

I’ve been on the Josh Allen bandwagon since his combine performance.  Today was a work of art from him.

This is where I was as well.  Feels good to have my feeling confirmed.

frankly, I’m more impressed by his play this year than making the playoffs.

And yea, Peter king had him in the mvp race I specifically remember, and he wasn’t the only one. Media will race to embrace josh too, he just wasn’t that guy before this year. Commentators in other games were talking about him during the game today.
