klos63 Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Not often that players get 2 large contracts. Good for him. 1
Hebert19 Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 I love Bob. But holy ***** he's not worth 17 a year.
JohnNord Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 He was always a decent player. I always thought he was a solid #2 but never a #1. He’s proven to be a much better WR in LA that has benefitted from being in a good offense. Still don’t think he’s worth that deal

That is nowhere near the top for a WR these days. It’s standard for above average wideouts. That’s Robert Wood. This contract does, however, let us all clearly see how Diggs is an absolute steal at what he’s being paid now...and will change soon depending on cap next year. The rams are laying Goff, Donald, Ramsey, Woods, Kupp all too money plus they have Gurley’s dead cap hit on top of that. People need to stop saying the Bills can’t afford all of their players. I will say it again, if the Bills want to keep a player, there is no issue whatsoever with them keeping that player This is true. It is mostly used as an excuse on these boards as to why the Bills do this or that. I think the guys running the team know they have a ton of flexibility to make all the pieces work. 1

I will say it again, if the Bills want to keep a player, there is no issue whatsoever with them keeping that player The problem is that at some point all the depth players become cheap, fringe Roster type guys. I prefer Bean’s approach instead of the Whaley “madden roster” approach. There’s too many injuries in football, I like having a few big names and filling the rest in with solid middle of the road type players. 1

Of course that could have been coaching and Tyrod What sticks out most for me was Woods constantly throwing mini temper tantrums on the field. Decent player, I never trusted his attitude.
eball Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 I would still love Bobby Woods on this team. Biggest regret of the drought era is that we didn’t have the QB or the organizational stability to keep him. 3
Uncle Joe Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Good for Robert for getting paid. I've said before his best years when he was younger and faster were wasted with bad qbs in Buffalo that couldn't get him the ball. That said, I'm not sure if he has another good 4 years left at his age. 1
Buffalo716 Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Always looves bob woods and thought he was extremely underated and underused He always made plays when given the chance and was just waiting to break out 1

aristocrat Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 He seems to be good for 11-1200 yards per year. That’s pretty damn good 2
billsbackto81 Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Good for him, always liked Woods. Scrappy player, lots of heart.
GETTOTHE50 Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 One of the very few former bills I still root for. Damn shame we couldn’t keep him for Josh and the offense, but I love Diggs more so it’s ok
T master Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 (edited) Robert Wood signed a 4 yr $65 million extension worth every penny IMHO ! I was sad to see him leave great all around team guy ! Good for him he's worth it . https://www.nfl.com/news/rams-wr-robert-woods-agree-to-four-year-65-million-extension If already written about my apology's . Edited September 19, 2020 by T master
DCofNC Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Good for him, Buffalo was the death of many WR careers, glad he got a real shot elsewhere and made something of it.
